Opinion Request
« on: May 10, 2013, 10:49:45 PM »
Alright... I've been shopping around for something that closely matches my real world platform (for obvious reasons), and for the money I have to spend, about $150, I was looking at airsoftmegastore and found the A&K M4 S-System Carbine AEG Rifle. Does anyone have any reviews on it? I've looked on youtube but you know youtube.  :P
If anyone has suggestions for the price range I'm working with and the M4 platform with adjustable stock platform please let me know. I'll do my homework on and see what I can do.

Be s-systems work very well for stock guns, but the weakest link on them that i have encountered is  the plastic. I have had one break by the rear body pin. I forgot what brand it was, either a jg or tm.

Thank you. I was wondering if the polymers had some downfalls and this is the type of input I've been trying to get.. Thanks again.

I believe (could be wrong) that the A&K is a TM clone and uses the proprietary upper receiver.  If that's the case, I'd definitely avoid it.  You'd be better off picking up an ICS Sportline or Combat Machine and a separate SIR rail for it.

I'll check those out. Thanks

Definitely check out the G&G combat machines, probably the best bang for your buck at 150.

I have personally heard better things about the JG S-System from at least a couple people. It's also about the same price on airsofgi.com. I haven't fired one, but I held it, and it felt pretty solid.
