Try to avoid a dark tinted lens on your mask, last time I went they did a lot of lights off games, so I couldn't see two feet in front of me.

i am used to playing low light games. and i only use SMG's because i know most places are cqb. and also you should invest in  goggles with exchangeable lenses ^^

Bring whatever you have, and if the gun shoots hot, for 10 bucks they'll rent you a M4, mask, ammo, etc.
You don't need any kind of BDU's or whatnot either. Street clothes are fine. We usually get a crowd by 6ish in the evening, and run till 11pm.

i dont like to rent anything. not even ammo lol

but i always bring something that shoots under 350. (back up lol) but i like to keep the something in the 400's (with .20g)

but thank you for letting me know ^^

It's settled then. Bring your back up and a GBB pistol, if you have one. Pistols almost always rule the field there and if everyone has one, a pistol game will be in order. Remember, though, that Tempe requires full face coverage (i.e. mesh lower or a paintball mask). Cloth won't cut it and neophane is far too thin. A flashlight is helpful if they can swing a no light game, but not required. Other than that, it's really come as you are. Whoever is reffing will give you the rundown on the rules, since you're new.

Almost forgot, a barrel sleeve WILL be required for any long arm in the lobby. If you don't have one, they sell them up front for $3 a piece.

I do believe Tempe uses elite force ammo. No that cheap crap that vanguard makes you use.

Yep. Elite Force is good ammo, and Tempe doesn't charge an arm and a leg for it, either.
Tempe, Fightertown, and The Sandbox are all owned/run by decent folks. I always enjoy playing there. You'll notice the difference from Vanguard right away at any of those venues.

thats very true. and i do hope to have alot of fun. as much as i play i really would like to play  at a place that will give both challenge and fun. at vanguard when i do really good people get pissed..and i dont like to play with people that cant take a loss
