So if you don't order from ASGI or Evike, who do you go to?
Megastore?

I didn't say I'm never ordering from Evike again. Although I'm not making another order with them until I get the item I have on backorder. I am glad to hear Evike is trying to make improvements. They have good prices and a wide selection.

Getting items that are defective right out of the box or repeately getting the wrong item is unacceptable, which is why I won't ever order from ASGI again.

I haven't had any problems with Red Wolf Airsoft. Shipping is usually around $25 since they're in Hong Kong. I don't mind paying extra in shipping considering they get my orders to me on time and without incorrect or defective items.

I like RW but I haven't have good luck with them. I ordered a Milspec peq15 and the mount came.. I don't even know. It was made attached to the stationary mount side. I talked to them and when all was worked out I was going to have pay more double the price it cost in shipping total. Second order, I ordered a Hurricane 553 in tan, and I got a black one. This time I didn't have to pay for shipping, but it sucked waiting another month for it.

yep, i agree with bowser once again.. i would like to have my adapter within the next month at least :|

they do have a good selection, dis-regarding the good 1/4th that is almost always Out of Stock. alot of the time, i will look for an item on evike, then price search elsewhere for a better deal

If we're going to talk about reliable & cheap... there's no beating ehobbyasia. Their stuff is always at the stock level they indicate and I don't know how... my order is at my doorstep in 3-4 business days from the moment I order. EVERY TIME. And it's always right.

Redwolf is also very good. Cost is higher, but very reliable, and once again has a good stock indication and has never messed up any of my orders.

If there isn't a reply from this guy in the next few days, I'm going to lock this thread.

Everybody knows Evike sucks (I've had pretty good luck with them though) and the 'Evike has done it again' line gets my douche chills rolling.

He responded to my PM. Although a lot of the stuff seems cut-and-paste, there are parts that were specifically related to the concerns I voiced in the PM, so the guy is actually reading the stuff he gets in PMs, not sure about the thread though. I gave a short recap of the problems that many of us here have had and letting him know that his presence here is a good start, but that he is far from convincing many of us that Evike is more than just a cruel joke.

In case anyone is wondering, this is the PM I got back:
Quote from: "KevinAtEvike"
Evike is in the process right now of updating and upgrading the software that takes care of their website where a lot of the problems stem from, you combine that with their updating customer service also then that is a big differnce in service to Evikes customers. Since both of those main fault points have been addressed up to and including an additional 50 customer service phone lines that have already been added and are monitored have now been installed and are operating on a daily basis during regular store hours. Evike has addressed a lot to make it a much better shopping experience for the customer.
Evike carries over 6000 airsoft items, that is quite a lot to deal with and maintain when you get most of those items from over 200 airsoft companies from other countries, that in it self is a very hard task to do, being that the majority over 90% of those airsoft items are made from companies over seas that make airsoft as a secondary source of their income, not their main source. That is why at times it takes so long to get a product in.
These companies overseas basically maintain very little if any inventory of airsoft items. You see, there are a lot of things that people are mad about Evike when they should actually be grateful that Evike is the airsoft company that works very hard so the american public can have the access they do to all of Evike's airsoft items. I know it is frustrating waiting for items if you have had a bad experience at Evike. I started working about two weeks ago for Evike. Anything prior is in the process of changing to be better for the Evike customer.
Evike deals in such a large volume things are going to happen form time to time, its inevitable. However that is one of the things that makes evike a great airsoft company the number of Airsoft items they carry.
Now you multiply that with 6000 items, many of those items only evike cares enough about to carry for the airsoft community here in the USA, many of those items there is very little profit on to begin with, but there is a need for those items in the Airsoft community and Evike knows this. So Evike is willing to go the extra mile to keep a customer happy and coming back if Evike carry these additional items. Evike knows it was people like you and the others that are complaining as well as the Evike cudtomers that are not complaining that made Evike the number 1 airsoft store in America. Evike has done the only thing they could to show gratitude and that is all of the recent improvements in their opertaion, they did this because you are number 1 to Evike rather you know it or not.
Evike has done other improvements above and beyond those I've mentioned. Imagine the USA without Evike. A lot of airsoft retailers in the USA buy from Evike. You have no idea the impact on airsoft in the USA if Evike shuts down. I am not playing games, I mean that, it would be bad. Evike is the only Airsoft company that deals with over 200 airsoft makers from other countries. Evike cares about you and the others that are complaining and those who are not complaining.
Myself being a Single Father of a 13 year old son who loves airsoft. I have dealt with Evike and have never had a problem with them. I have bought guns as well as airsoft items. Myself I enjoyed the money I've saved in dealing with Evike.
I am here at the Forums all over the USA to help you guys out with Evike the doing the best I can. I have already dealt with a lot of simple everyday problems such as people changing their order, people wanting their items sooner so I help them change shipping to 3 day shipping instead of ground shipping and so on. I am able to do this for you guys. You have have access to me 7 days a week, even tho on sunday I can do nothing but prepare to deal with something on Monday, (store is closed) but I am open, so I still help where ever I can. There is a whole new customer service approach that I think you guys will appreciate in the long run. Sorry about typing you a book to read but there was a lot involved in letting you know about how hard Evike works to keep you guys that are mad at them happy. To Evike you really are number 1. Evike will continue to do what they can within reason to keep all of thier customers happy. To Evike the customer will always be number 1.

Evike doesn't have controll over any market. That is such bull and that guy is off his rocker if he thinks the disappearance of a website would end airsoft in the states. Anyone can import parts-and guns for the most part- straight from China, Hong Kong, Japan, etc. I have. The post written by evike makes importing seem like it is difficult or rare. In reality, international shipping rates are excellent at most overseas airsoft sites. The only part that sucked was figuring out how to pay duties (import taxes) on the goods. go staright to the source guys, and FUCK evike!

@ axisofoil, you think he would at least use spellcheck, lol..

oh yeah, looks like they are doing some maintenance on their website... but someone forgot to change the front end to let their customers know ;)

I agree never again with Evike. I just Ordered a G&P Sentry from them. I have talked to 3 people who said the Item was in stock and would be shipped by friday at the latest.  It has yet to ship and has been 5 days since I have ordered.

Its funny you say that haha. I ordered the exact same gun and it was labeled as in stock
of course it wasnt so it went on backorder. 41 days later EXACTLY my gun showed up. I didnt have a good battery for it so i ordered a g&p cranestock battery wired to deans. I got a flippin g&p cranestock battery wired to large type with a 6 inch adapter wire to small type, and ANOTHER 4 inch wire adapter from small type to deans. Can you beleive that?! Who can shove a foot of wires and plugs into a modstock?!

Evike has the worst customer service on the planet. They have literally messed up 4 of my last 4 orders. Im done. Unless Evike makes some serious changes, im using asgi. I used them for my last 2 or 3 and OMG! No issues?! I didn't even know that was still possible!

And i have had the same issue with the 6-7 day processing time. Its rediculous. 10 to 12 days to get a package across 1 state?  :o . i can crawl using only my tounge faster.

evike is hit and miss. maybe after they get their new system online and functioning, they can pick the ball up.

i will say this, they have a hell of an inventory (when it is maintained). 4/5 times, they will have a rifle that i cant get on ASGI or other retailers

Yea, it's apparently very hit or miss.  I had ordered over 100 bucks in gear and ammo (this is my 5th order from them).  It came today without any flaws.

Again, everyone's experience is different, but I'm very successful with Evike, and will continue shopping with them until otherwise.

Interesting how we've yet to hear from "Kevin". I'm thinking he will be back on here in about another couple weeks if we're lucky ;)

I've placed an order with them only a couple days ago, so we will see how it goes. It's my first time ordering with them, and so far my order is in "processing"... whatever that means, if anything. Also, I had to pre-order my upper slide assembly for my G18C, as there is one piece in it I can't find anywhere else, and was up until 0300 just searching for it. Gotta love KSC. Either way, hopefully my order ships out properly, as I've got a tighbore for the Glock on order, and have my upper slide on back-order, so I will get both worlds to comment on soon........ hopefully.

Am I wrong to go to Evike? ANSWER US KEVIN! (crickets chirp, as he no longer exists in the forum)...
