Arkansas, uh different
« on: January 22, 2008, 05:56:55 PM »
So here I am in Little Rock, Arkansas for R&R training.......

Things I've noticed.

-Mexican food here is Taco Bell.
-Lots of "hey'all''
-Robust/round girls aplenty
-Bars open till 5 am (I think the above mentioned girls made that law)
-Everything comes in "deep fried version"
-Waffle House is like Circle K, every other corner.
-apparently Chicken and Waffles go together like ham and cheese
-its called "THE Walmart"
-"The Mall" is smaller then "THE Walmart"
-Everyone wears hunting camo, everywere they go.
-Gun Stores sell nice firearms
-AZ C.C. Permit is good here.
-Ammo is cheap! (bought a brick of 5.56 62grn for $200.00)
-Gun Stores sell Classic Army Airsoft guns to teach gun safety to youngsters
-Airsofting is HUGE. My Instructor is playing this weekend and I might go join him if I don't have CQ.

Anyway. I hope everyone is having a good time back in AZ

You forgot one...

"You want some sweet tea? How about some sweet tea?"

I miss Charlotte, NC - which shared many of the traits you mentioned.  In fact I dont think I realized I was such a hick/southerner till I read your post and was thinking "damn I miss all of that".

Mmmm...robust girls. ;)
