You'll notice I never said I wasn't a dick.

In regards to the small business, you seem to only be looking at this from the mindset more people = more money.  However if you had any business sense, you would know that you have to take into consideration margins and in this industry service costs.  People have gone from buying $400 guns that last forever to buying $150 guns that break in a month which wouldn't be so bad, except they have a warrenty so you don't make any money off that.  You make more money selling 1 guns with $90 of profit than 5 guns with $10 of profit.  Asomeone who sells said guns, those are actual numbers, not just random facts pulled out of my ass.  Let me know if you need help with the math on that.
the warranty is threw the supplier not the account so the supplier will cover the cost of the gun  and the money is not in the guns its in the up grades and parts. And yes cheap guns do break but cheap guns bring people to the hobby and then they get better stuff (wow more sales for small business)and second the up grades are small so the shipping is cheaper which means more profit

i have an idea. why don't the two of you guys settle this little contest via PM, or better yet face to face..

you're both good guys, i hate watching both of you make asses out of yourselves by arguing like this in a public forum..
Im sorry he just got the best of me i dont like people who pick on others .And i dont need to settle this face to face unless its my son he talks that way too. I will always say something to anyone that is rude or mean to anyone under age. I'm a dad first and airsofter last

I prefer people with an IQ over 10, but I'll still be able to sleep at night without wondering what STD's I picked up.
So how big of a IQ do you need to figure out that kids who ask questions and sound excited about airsoft are a good thing. What we need to get rid of is punks such as yourself that put kids down. And sorry dude its not how smart you are its how productive you are in the world that counts

That's entirely a matter of opinion.  No we don't need a bunch of kids playing airsoft. why not? We don't need more media attention. why not? We don't need more "national recognition".are you that stupid?  All that's done is cause more headache for airsoft i can tell you dont know anything about promoting and by the look of were you live how to make money too
I would love to see a planet run entirely by productive stupid people.  You run a bar, I run servers, how would you like to gauge productivity?
productivity is more than just work what have you done to better yourself or someone else.

Asking why we don't need a bunch of kids playing airsoft is like asking why we don't need a bunch of kids driving cars.  If for no other reason, because they are operating potentially dangerous equipment and they aren't liable for their actions.

Explain why we do "need' national recognition.

In regards to where I live.  I have no problem living in a old house.  I'd much rather spend the money on toys.  So if you want to compare sizes, how much do you make?  Or what might be a better question, how far in debt are you?

In regards to productivity...  I certainly haven't seen you producing anything of use.  In regards to me, ask any of the dozens of people I've helped with their ICS's or the 30,000 members we have on ASR.  Or even ask any of the owners of the thousands of computers I've built.  Or you talking about personal achievements like working full time and taking college courses?  Or teaching myself 2 different programming languages?  How about donating time and my skills to charity?

Considering how quick people are to dismiss me as a "dickhead" or complain about my putting down people I don't know, you guys rather quick to do the same.

playing in sandiego and bing on their forum i have noticed that many under 18 players are in the community, they all are very adult playing and most are actually quite good, there parents ether play, work, or are just aware of the sport and understand the  hazards of playing so really i dont see what any of this has to do with  this post... :-k  if they act out or get whiney just send them down the road

why havent the mods closed this fcuker?  SERIOUSLY i would put you all on forum probation, respectibly no posting,( pm, and forum acces only)we dont want you ouut of games we just want you to shut up  [smilie=armata_pdt_06.gif]

What unit was this? I'm sure a quick search on the DoD database will show all the MP units around, and it will take less than a few phone calls to figure out the one you were with.

I am 100% positive the company commander would totally allow a bunch of kids to train with "real world" units, regardless of how pogue they are.

XavierMace, do you ever hang out at Gamers Inn?

56th MP unit. SGT. Robert Fairchild (currently deployed in Afghanistan), have fun.

The company commander was cool with it because I'm not some punk ass kid who thinks they know everything about everything. Take your time bud. I'll be waiting. Also, if you don't hear from me in a while, it'll be because I'm airsofting, unlike you.

To post on this thread, honestly I am dying a little more inside. You're full of shit though, kid.
Being deployed doesn't mean that it's impossible to contact them.

If you don't hear from me for 4 weeks, it's because I'm currently going through Army Flight Medic school. That's the cool shit you get to goto once you deploy to Afghanistan with the 101st Airborne, as a medic on the ground with Infantry, climbing mountans and killing terrorists. And just what have you done besides "train" with some MP unit that probably can't find their way out of a wet paperbag?

Something you've spent many many hours doing on video games and pretending in airsoft. I personally airsoft because there are a few individuals that are as into tactical gear as I am, and it lets me shoot kids in the face, legally.

I shouldn't have a problem contacting them. They probably sit on a FOB doing jack shit, giving out citations for not wearing your bright reflective PT belt at night. I was out on missions, unable to enjoy nice hot meals, a place to shower, shave, and shit. But, like I said....

That's why I don't have time for airsoft these days.
