Howdy Matt,

You've got a good additude so far and a willingness to learn, both of which will take you far in this hobby and the AA community. I wouldn't worry too much about the team aspect, unless the team is just your buddies getting together to have fun.

You've got 2 things working against ya right now:
1. You're in Buckeye. Both major CQB fields are on the eastside. If you can make it out this far, I would recommend Tempe Paintball. It's the better of the two fields and a favorite amongst AA'ers. As far as outdoor fields go, there's Fear Farm in Avondale. It's a pretty good field. There's usually a Sunday game at New Hatfield. Both these are very nicely run games. All these are still a fair drive from Buckeye.
2. Most big games (Havoc, the Phantom monthly games, big ops at Fear Farm, ect.) require you to be 18+ or have a guardian/sponsor present (Havoc requires <18 to have heir parent play with them). Some of these also require/recommend midcaps, if you don't have em.

Check the local game forum for games. Just think you're gonna have a hard time being in Buckeye.

Other than that, glad to have ya aboard! ;D

P.S. check out Evike or airsoftgi for the replacement part for your pistol. Might want to post on the want to buy board. Maybe someone has an extra.
