FOR SALE: M&P .45 Flat Dark Earth
« on: August 19, 2008, 06:42:57 AM »
I don't use this pistol anymore, and I need the cash for other things, so here it is (image taken from website):

-Smith & Wesson M&P .45, Flat Dark Earth frame, Full-size with Thumb Safety. Less than 1K rounds through it, works like a charm and has been very well maintained. Comes with 6 full capacity mags (1 black bumper and 5 FDE), hard case and all the s*** that came with the gun. $575

I'd like to sell this face-to-face. FFL transfers are a hassle for both buyer and seller.

The gun cost me 625, and mags are $29 each. I spent over $740 on this setup, but it's yours for $575.

Cash only if sold face to face. AZ Drivers License will be required for purchase just to verify AZ residency.

If you have any questions about the model of pistol, please look it up. Condition is great, and there are no wear marks except on the barrel hood from normal firing wear and tear. I have treated this gun very well, and only used quality, factory-loaded ammo.

Post here and send me a PM if you want to buy.

Quick question, how is this legal without an FBI background check?

It's legal for a resident of this state to sell a handgun to a resident of this state as long as they are above the age of eighteen.

Not if you buy it used from someone.  You have to be 21 to buy one from a gun shop though.  Sorry I can't phrase that better.

There really is no way to phrase it better. 18 from private party, most ask to see Arizona ID to confirm residency. 21 from vendor.

This changes everything, I never knew this. I have a small booklet on AZ  firearm laws, and it never said anything about this. This is excellent.
