Interesting, but I like the Germans idea that they used in WWII.  A curved barrel attachement that they used on the MP44.  It had a mirror attached at the mid point and you simple lined your shot and sights up in the mirror.  Then you could take the attachment off for normal shooting.

Can you curve a real bullet ninety degrees just by curving the barrel?

There were also contraptions that we made in WWI to shoot out of the trenches without popping your head up. It had a periscope and a string tied to the trigger.

I've got a picture of one I took at an Army museum of the MP44 with the curved barrel device.  You wouldn't want to actually curve the barrel itself since the friction of the bullets passing on the outside of the curve tends to wear it out faster.

The german MP44 only curves a little bit.  This new one looks like it will do a 90 degree corner around a building.  I wonder how long it will be until someone buys one and puts an airsoft glock or beretta in it.

There is an MP44 version that bends 90 degrees.  I wonder what the life expectancy of such a thing is...

It was at the Champlin Fighter Museum in Mesa, in the machine gun collection. I've seen it.

why not create a gun with the firing mechanism in front of the bend and electronically create the trigger behind the bend... recoil would be a bitch but hey.... no curve wear

Its just a beretta with a bendable mechanism trigger thingy on it.  But I like the rail on top.  "Look, I see the dot on my CCO, but everythng I hit is way off.  Cool!"  Lets just hope they don't make one for airsoft.  Every HavHav out there will pick one up and ruin the CQB games from here to eternity.

Thanks man...Thanks. I have never even been to a CQB game that you attended, so you have no information to base that off of. Anyways, why would I waste the money (that I currently don't have) on a stupid looking gun?

Its not a Beretta, its just a mechanism that holds a firearm.  Up until now I've only seen it with various Glocks in it.  It straightens out so that you could use the rails parallel with the barrel.
