I went to see the field on satuday.
To sum it all up, I'd have to sy it was overwelming, I have never imaged such a large facility in Arizona!!
I was shaking with excitment to be able to ply on it. There are currently 3 fields, 1 is HUGE and includes the majority of cars and trenches on the facility.  The trenches span the entire field, going under helicopters and bridges.  This field is te main rec field and is hard to reserve for airsoft on weekends, but avaliable if there are eough guys to use if reserved. the 2nd is a smaller, more cover-dense battlefield for kids and pistol-only battles or can be used for close quarter battles. The third field is the one that caught my eye, it is a perfect tournament field. Each end of the field has a vietnam war-era helicopter that has been gutted out so that a team can fit inside. This is the starting  area for this field, and it is perfect for milsim.  After the helicopter, each side has all kinds of cover, sandbags, and a burnt out car. Each side is a mirror-image of the other so there is no "better side".  The middle of this field is the best part, a gigantic swat house.  Like a labrynth, the swathouse is very tricky and I got lost multiple time trying to get out.  We have this field reserved in a few weeks for use and I can't wait.. The owners hav been great about airsofters so far, they just require us to use guncondoms/socks/safety covers because the paintballers are not used to such realistic guns. lol.

Yes, you can run full auto at the field.  We do require the barrel covers to protect the eyes of people who are not on the field.  Its not only required by our insurance its also just a safe thing to do.  We have small kids and spectators walking around and I for one would feel horrable if I shot someone in the eye.

Thank You

why would you let people walk around the field if people are playing at the same time? thats not really safe. and if they are a waiver should be signed and full face masks should be worn. but still i don't think both should be going on at the same time, thats just asking for trouble.

sidenote: barrell covers prevent you from shooting. the only time it should be on the gun is if the game is over or you are in a staging area.

You really need to learn how to fucking read, people in the safe area you noob. even when games are not in progress you should have your barrel condom on people tend to walk the field and get a feel for the layout of the field and plan their course of action of how they are going to play the field.

SAFTY AREA BARREL CONDOMS MUST BE ON you may say your safty is on but all it takes is 1 accident and then whamo someone lost a eye and it's no more fun and games.

Covers only need to be on in the staging area.  In other words.  If you are not on the field playing, put a barrel cover on.  If a game is not being played and people are walking around the field to get a feel for it, dont bring the gun on the field. If you do please have a cover on it.  When you come to the field and you get out of your car with your gun, please have a cover on the barrel.  When you leave the field after a game please cover your barrel. I hope this clears things up.

Thank You

IMHAO If I were to do the spectator thing and theres live fire going on In the Immediate area It should be required to were eye protection anytime they are on the property.  I have to wear eye protection at all times while on the job site, and theres no shooting of any kind going on.  In addition to the "Gun Condoms" maybe for the less educated there should be a safety video and a legal paper signed just like SGC does before you can use there range. The only time I have seen first hand, the "Accidental" firing of the AEG is do In no small part to horse play, and a finger on the trigger. The older (Seasoned) players no how to properly conduct them selves In this type of enviroment. Again this Is my HAO

I'll definitely be keeping my eye on this place. Shame about all the paint that's going to be everywhere though...

Im going to do my best to keep the place pretty clean.  We have a water truck and a power washer to clean up the buildings and cars every couple of weeks.

That's actually very encouraging. Any idea about when you'll be hosting another airsoft event?

I dont know enough about the airsoft community to set up an event.   At this time, if anyone wants to set up an event or just set up a open game then let us know.  If a group wants to just come out, then you are more then welcome to do a walk on game.  The field was originally set up as a paintball park, but after meeting some of the guys that play airsoft, we are glad to give the airsoft players equal time on any field.

Thank You

If you have a video, everyone is going to have to have to watch it. you cant just get off easy cause youre "seasoned." same thing for legal papers. if there are rules for safety, everyone should be required to follow them, not just the noobs.
