Uhh...at the last game I yelled repeatedly dead man coming out, had both hands up with a shitload of stuff in them...and someone took the side of my arm off with a ruger mk1......from about 10ft..

quit bitching. One time I had someone pop up, go full auto on my face, I put my hands and weapon up, and they proceded to put 20 more rounds into the back of my head as I started walking off.

edit: This was also from about 10 feet.

I often don't bring a death rag with me. But I'm also not one to bitch about getting shot a bit more. It's not a huge deal. It doesn't really hurt. I do get  shot a little bit more often while dead, but I don't get mad because it is my fault that I'm not wearing a rag.

I usually just sling my gun and walk with my hands on my head. That conveys the point better than a death rag most of the time,  anyway.

I always drop mine, or it falls off my head and I have to go back for it.

I'm going to put a small square of velcro on my death rag. Then I can just stick it to one of my velcro hats' top spot where the iff square should go.

Every death rag I have is one I have found on the field, with the exception of the very first rag I brought out (which I have since lost).

Are you sure you lost it? Maybe you did loose it but then found it again?  ;)

At most games I've been too, hardley anybody brings death rags or if they do they don't bring them on the field.

At LC4 there were some 'incidents' because of players forgetting their death rags, at some local events players have bitched about being shot twice while walking off the field, or the opposing team has had to ask "are you dead".  Personally its bugged the heck out of me, because I've hesitated to shoot somebody, or needlessly stalked somebody walking off the field who is already dead.

There are two solutions to this problem:

1) Shoot anybody not wearing a death rag even if you think they might already be dead, just to make sure and cover your a$$.

2) Organizers of events make sure every player has one at the start of the game or they can't play.

I hate #1 because it causes arguements, but if you remember your AEG, BB's, Gas, etc. you should remember your 'red rag' as part of your field gear.  #2 can be a problem because no doubt somebody will forget it and not be able to play.

The next event I hear somebody yell "I'm already dead" after they get shot while walking off the field, is going to get a loud "ya where's your death rag" from my side.

Anybody else have any solutions to this problem?

I'll admit that I'm one of the worst when it comes to a death rag.  I'm always forgetting it.  So, I just heft my weapon up and walk out after the combat has moved passed.  If I get shot walking out, it's my own fault and I don't bitch at anyone else about it.  :)

Someone shoots a guy who is OBVIOUSLY dead probably should get shot back.......

No death rag, no complaining.  If I forget my death rad, I'm expecting to get nailed a couple extra times

On the Infinity Tactical Vest, there is a little pouch with a snap on my left shoulder.  both times I got killed I called "HIT" and shouldered my rifle, and pulled out the red rag,(I got from AUTOZONE 2.00 for 5 of them) and tucked one corner in my vest on my chest.  No problems.

It was once believed that Chuck Norris actually lost a fight to a
pirate, but that is a lie, created by Chuck Norris himself to lure more pirates to him. Pirates never were very smart.

I thought that this was obviously evident to everyone.  But from some cases I've heard about, I guess not.  If you dont have a rag, 1st off your liable to get shot while dead.  Secondly if you are dead without a rag, raise your hands high and dont walk around like your "in game" or you will mulitply your changes of getting shot again.   The only part that sucks for the person doing the shooting, like others mentioned before, is that they probally spent some time hunting down the "dead" player.  And that is a waste of time.  I personally hate spending that extra time getting a shot at a guy who turns out is alread dead.

So for this evident factor, all players please remeber to bring a death rag, it is part of your airsoft gear.  And if you loose it while out in the field or just know the risks and dont want a rag, walk ever so apparent that you are out. If you put your arms or gun down you will be shot. Plain as that.
