General Airsoft Discussion / Monthly Milsim?
« on: October 11, 2014, 01:47:25 PM »
What ever happened to the monthly milsim games? If anyone is interested in doing these again Crossfire would love to help out.

2
Crossfire's Free Summer Airsoft event hosted by Crossfire and sponsored by LynchTec Airsoft

Crossfire is back at it again! We did this last year and had an amazing turn out, and with all the positive feedback, we went back to the drawing board and came up with improved scenarios, better props, and new objectives.

When: 15 - 17 of August 2014
Where: On the Rim, Apache Sitgreaves National Forest near Chevelon Canyon Lake

Schedule (subject to change):
If you can't come Friday please come join us Saturday morning.

Friday-
•   Set up camp and familiarize yourself with the terrain
•   Play short games as people come
•   Eat

8 pm - First night Game Attack and Defend:  each team member will wear 1 chem stick during game play (see colors below).  Defending team protects the flag with their glow stick color mounted to pole.  Attacking team’s objective is to raise their glow stick on the flag pole and hold Flag for 30 min.

10 pm - 2nd night game Sniper Challenge: One team defends the target area, attacking team works in pairs, a sniper and a spotter. Objective: Sniper must hit the target undetected. Spotter must protect the sniper. Rules: If both the sniper and spotter are hit before engaging the target then both team members must return to the start point, if one team member is hit then the other may revive by placing two hands on downed player, team cannot split up. Sniper team may engage any of the opposing team to protect themselves. If neither team member has a sniper rifle then an AEG will be used on single shot only. The game is over when all sniper teams have hit the target. No flash lights or chem sticks used.

Saturday-

Wake up, eat breakfast, chronograph guns, gear up, and separate into teams...

10 am - first game Rescue Pilot: Both teams must try to rescue the pilot and retrieve the data recorder from his aircraft. Teams must battle for possession of both the Pilot and the Data recorder. The game is over when one team takes possession of both, returns to their base and defends and maintains possession of the pilot and recorder for 30 minutes.

Noon - lunch break and airsoft swap meet

2 pm - Destroy the Satellite Depot: At last year’s event we hosted, we played this type of game, and after 2.5 hours it was still not completed. We have made some modifications and improvements to props and rules.

How team One beats team Two is by destroying their satellite and sounding the air horn. The only way to destroy the satellite is by taking the depots which contain different parts of the code, and those can be found at each supply depot.

Location Alpha (Food): Quickly dispose of any enemy forces and supplies remaining, and collect Intel.
Location Bravo (Medical): Destroy depot and any resisting enemy forces, and collect Intel.
Location Charlie (Ammo): Collect Intel; and destroy remaining weapons, ammunition, and enemy forces.
Location Zulu (Cannot be completed without the code): Locate the satellite, open code locked box, and sound the air horn.

Team 1: You can attack and destroy each supply depot individually or all at once. You can occupy Zulu at any time, but you cannot destroy the satellite until all four parts of the code are found and entered by anyone on your team. Once you take a depot, take down the enemy flag and replace it with the one provided in the tube on the pole and take the code with you. Once the depot is yours it can now be used as a spawn point.

Team 2: Your only objective is to defend the supply depots and the satellite. Once you lose a depot, it can't be taken back. When the satellite is overrun, create a new spawn to fight for the satellite. The Satellite is the only location that can be reclaimed by your team.

After Satellite Depot game- take a short break and play Last Stand: Losing team of Depot game retreats to secondary base to make their final stand, game then becomes attack and defend.  Attacking team must drive defenders from their base. The game is over when the attackers eliminate all defenders from the base.

6 pm - Dinner time, for those who stay.

8 pm - S'mores will be provided by Team Crossfire for a little R&R by the fire to share war stories and kick back.

Night games played and organized by those remaining.

Sunday-

Wake up, clean up camp and go home

Gear Needed:

Airsoft equipment - Guns, ammo (Bio BB's highly recommended), magazines, batteries, accessories etc.

PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) - Safety glasses, goggles, or metal mesh goggles (EYE PROTECTION IS REQUIRED)

Game gear - 2 green and 2 blue chem sticks (can be found at most sporting goods stores and Wal-Mart), A red bandanna or red rag for deaths. We would like to see everyone wearing full camo and if you don’t have camo wear all black or dark green, no jeans unless they’re black or dark green.

Additional Information and notes: Stick to the map and follow all directions exact and you’ll make it there with no trouble. We will also have signs posted “Crossfire” with directional arrows. We get very little to no cell reception where we’ll be.

Camping and Airsofting: You are responsible for your own camping and Airsofting gear as well as food and drinking water. Be sure to bring at least one gallon of drinking water per day. There may be fire restriction, but we're hoping that's lifted by then. We have spoken with one of the ranger stations in Apache and Sitgreaves National Forests, and Crossfire will have an "Event/ Commercial Permit" for this activity (for more information see www.fs.usda.gov/main/asnf/home).

General Concerns: PPE is REQUIRED at all times during gameplay!! We will be playing an eighth to a quarter mile away from our camp minimum. We will be playing respawns and medic rules, these rules will be further discussed at the pre-game briefings. Keep foul Language to a minimum out of respect for others. No one under 16 is permitted to play without a guardian, if you are under 16 you must be playing with your guardian on your team and cannot play unless said guardian is playing in the current game. We will be divided into teams before we play and teams will be separated by uniform. At night you will need to communicate with your team and know of their whereabouts at all times. For each scenario there will be a mission statement and briefing as well as several maps provided for each team. We will have a chronograph and tags, so have your guns ready for it.

Don't PM me, I don't check the forum much during the day, just text me if you have a set of gears 480-684-0560

Local Games Listing/RSVP / Black Friday (29th November) at 4 Peaks 8am
« on: November 22, 2013, 12:17:53 PM »
Friday November 29th at 8am, chrono will start at 8am and end at 8:30. This will be Crossfire hosted (absolutely free) and we hope to see you guys there. We will provide all necessary props, and we will have maps for the attacking team.
We are going to be playing a flag game with 4 flags/depots.

Operation Rusty Hammer:

The Russian terrorist organization known as Bratsva Urzhavovo Udarnik (The Brotherhood of the Rusty Hammer) have been making threats toward various humanitarian aid groups and small NATO forces groups and have been following through on these threats. They've been stealing food, medical supplies, and weapons leaving camps crippled and defenseless. Until yesterday their threats have been nonviolent, and they're demanding humanitarian and NATO forces to evacuate the area. But now they're threatening to take hostages, and executing one each day until their demands are met. Luckily they haven't taken anyone, but we don't doubt they will.
The only way to stop this organization from expanding and operating is to cripple their communications by destroying their satellite and stolen supplies. Intel shows the depots are located as follows:
Alpha- Food and water
Bravo- Medical
Charlie- Weapons
Zulu- Communications and Satellite.

The Brotherhood is expecting all-out war, so be careful and be ready for anything.
Team 1: U.S. and Russian Special Forces divide into two squads and appoint one member of each group a hacker and work together to fight and cripple the Brotherhood. The hackers are the only ones who can input the code, but they aren't limited to what they can do in the battle field. The enemy doesn't know who is a hacker and who isn't, and the hackers will not be marked. You can attack and destroy each supply depot individually or all at once. You can occupy Zulu at any time, but you cannot destroy the communications network until all four parts of the code are found and entered by at least one hacker. Take out any enemies preventing you from achieving your objectives and protect your hackers!
Team 2: Russian terrorist organization known as Bratsva Urzhavovo Udarnik (The Brotherhood of the Rusty Hammer), your only objective is to defend your supply depots and your Communications Center from U.S. and Russian special forces. Do everything in your power to keep them from taking your Communications Center down. If they succeed your organization will be no more!

Games-
Night Game- Sniper Challenge
Rules: Buddy revives with unlimited lives for both sides.
This game is played at night with a target for one team to defend and one team to attack. The target will be a hanging piece of metal lit up with glow sticks.
Team 1: Sneak into the enemy’s base and shoot the target. Each sniper will carry only a sniper rifle and pistol (sidearm optional) and have a spotter with any weapon they choose.
Team 2: Defend your base from Team 1 and do not let any of their snipers get the target! You will send 2-3 men out to patrol in specific zones and check in every 10-15 minutes. Each patrol will change zones after each check in.
Game is over when all of Team 1’s snipers have shot the target; or when Team 2 has eliminated all of Team 1 or has prevented the snipers from shooting the target for 2 hours. And then switch sides if desired.

Operation Rusty Hammer-
Rules: Medic rules for being revived on the battle field and respawns at depots if you don't want to wait for a medic unlimited lives. Team 1 spawns at nearest fallen depots and Team 2 spawns at nearest team occupied depots.
The Russian terrorist organization known as Bratsva Urzhavovo Udarnik (The Brotherhood of the Rusty Hammer) have been making threats toward various humanitarian aid groups and small NATO forces groups and have been following through on these threats. Alpha- Food and water
Bravo- Medical
Charlie- Weapons
Zulu- Communications and Satellite.
The only way to permanently disable the Brotherhood's communications is by hacking the encrypted mainframe and entering the code to crash the satellite's network. Intel shows different parts of the code can be found at each supply depot.
Location Alpha: Quickly dispose of any enemy forces and supplies remaining, and collect Intel.
Location Bravo: Destroy depot and any resisting enemy forces, and collect Intel.
Location Charlie: Resupply ammunition if necessary, collect Intel; and destroy remaining weapons, ammunition, and enemy forces.
Location Zulu (Cannot be completed without the code): Locate the satellite and computer mainframe, search for Intel containing the final part of the code, hack the network (enter the code), and destroy communications disabling all of the Brotherhood's operations.
The Brotherhood is expecting all-out war, so be careful and be ready for anything. Good Luck Team!
Team 1: U.S. and Russian Special Forces divide into squads and appoint one member of each group a hacker and work together to fight and cripple the Brotherhood. The hackers are the only ones who can input the code, but they aren't limited to what they can do in the battle field. Do everything in your power to keep them from taking your Communications Center down. If they succeed your organization will be no more!

Last Stand (Depending on who wins the operation Rusty Hammer)-
Rules: When defending the base all defenders must stay within 50ft of the base and when spawning you must respawn at the flag located at the center of the base. Attackers must spawn at one of three pre designated spawn points, spawn points must be at least 200ft away from the enemy base. Attackers will have 6 respawns, Defenders will have 4 respawns.
Terrorist's Last Stand (If Special Forces win)

Team, you've completed your objectives, to take out the Brotherhood's resources and communications network. The Brotherhood is making their last ditch effort to take your team down. You've pushed them out of their base of operations and into the forest, but now they're on the offense this time. They have nothing left to lose, so they'll throw everything they have at you and fight until there is no one left to fight. Take the Brotherhood down and do not let them push you into the forest. This is their home, this is their land; so watch for anything, take no prisoners, and leave no survivors!!
Terrorists: Wearing blue chem sticks (if at night), attack the Special Force's base and push them back into the forest and hold their base for 20 consecutive minutes.
Special Forces: Wearing green chem sticks (if at night), defend your base and leave no survivors. Do not let your enemy push you out of your base.
The game is over when Terrorists have held the Special Forces base for 20 consecutive minutes or when Special Forces have kept the base from enemy hands for 2 hours.

Special Forces Last Stand (If Terrorists win)
Team, you've failed your objectives, to take out the Brotherhood's communications network. They're making their move on NATO and various humanitarian aid groups tomorrow, you're our last resort. Take the Brotherhood down with extreme prejudice, no prisoners, no survivors!!
Special Forces: Wearing blue chem sticks (if at night), attack the terrorist base and push them back into the forest and hold their base for 20 consecutive minutes.
Terrorists: Wearing green chem sticks (if at night), defend your base and leave no survivors. Do not let your enemy push you out of your base.
The game is over when Special Forces have held the terrorist base for 20 consecutive minutes or when the Terrorists have kept the base from enemy hands for 2 hours.

This isn't necessarily Airsoft, but it can be. My brother and i bought a construction site job trailer and all we want to keep is the bed. The dimensions of the office itself are 18' long by 6½' wide by 8½-9' high. The lumber is all free!! We are tearing it apart, so we will set everything aside for pick up. We personally would use this  lumber for an Airsoft field, but we don't own any land or know anyone that does that we can put it on. We would like it be of use to someone, because if not than we have to dump it ourselves and that'll cost us. You would be doing us a huge favor. We can deliver it to you for $50 if you don't have anything to pick it up with. If you want to know when and where to pick it up or you want pictures i can send them to you after 4pm today, you can text or call me if you have any questions 480-684-0560

Medic Rules, buddy revives or designated medics depending on the game (We have armbands for medics). Keep foul Language to a minimum out of respect for others!! No one under 16 is permitted to play without a guardian, if you are under 16 you must be playing with your guardian on your team and cannot play unless said guardian is playing in the current game. We will be divided into teams before we play and teams will be separated by colored Duct tape wrapped around your arm, at night you will need to communicate with your team and know of their whereabouts at all times. If you would like to sit out any of the night games you may, they are not everyone’s favorite. For each scenario there will be a mission statement and briefing as well as several maps provided for each team. We will have a chronograph, so have your guns ready for it.
FPS limits: 385 w/.25's

**Operation Rusty Hammer

The Russian terrorist organization known as Bratsva Urzhavovo Udarnik (The Brotherhood of the Rusty Hammer) have been making threats toward various humanitarian aide groups and small NATO forces groups and have been following through on these threats. They've been stealing food, medical supplies, and weapons leaving camps crippled and defenseless. Until yesterday their threats have been non violent, and they're demanding humanitarian and NATO forces to evacuate the area. But now they're threatening to take hostages, and executing one each day until their demands are met. Luckily they haven't taken anyone, but we don't doubt they will.
The only way to stop this organization from expanding and operating is to cripple their communications by destroying their satellite, stolen supplies. Intel shows the depots are located as follows:
Alpha- Food and water
Bravo- Medical
Charlie- Weapons
Zulu- Communications and Satellite.
The Brotherhood is expecting all out war, so be careful and be ready for anything. Good Luck Team!

Team 1: U.S. and Russian special forces, divide into two groups and appoint one member of each group a hacker and work together to fight and cripple the Brotherhood.

Local Games Listing/RSVP / 3 Day 2 night Airsoft Campout
« on: August 03, 2012, 10:34:34 AM »
Airsoft campout 10-12 August 2012 same spot as usual up on the rim near Chevlon Canyon Lake and Creek, same rules for camping apply. It will be cold at night in 50's or maybe lower. Fend for yourself, bring your own food, camping and airsoft gear, and money for gas if you're riding with someone, and DBAD rules apply (Don't Be A Douche).
There will be night games and day games. We don't play by AA rules for this event, we play where you're only out if you get shot in the torso or head. If you want to be out when you get shot in the limbs that's fine, but not everybody will be playing like that, I sometimes go out when shot in the limbs cause I want a fresh start. Be a good sport and play fair.

We are playing away from the campsite. more than 150 Yards

We generally follow all AA rules with the exception of hits, lives, and revives. Here are our basic rules:
1) When you get hit in the Chest, Head, Back, Neck, and Stomach you lose a life
2) We usually determine the amount of lives before each game
3) In order to be revived you need a teammate to come lay both their hands on you and count to five
4) FPS no higher than 450 assault, snipers keep your distance

We will doing a few scenarios involving "Bombs", downed UAV, rescue the downed pilot, storm the castle type games, and a few others. We don't play in our camp so nothing will get destroyed by airsoft in our camp.

So far we have 9 people
We are meeting at the Chevron Gas Station on Recker and Brown in Mesa on Friday August 10th at 4pm and we will be waiting til 4:30pm If anyone wants to just follow us up there so you don't get lost.
