It could, depends on how many people want to stick around. I'm totally game for all-night play. We don't have a time limit on use of the field.

It starts up at 4pm, works its way into the night, I expect it to wrap sometime between 10pm and 1am.

Bonus part of it is, the paintballers go home at 3pm.

EDIT: Which means we get our choice of fields (one of the scenarios includes the entire area), and we don't have to worry about stray paint.

Roster updated.

Looks like 23-25 on tan, and 20 on green with 3 possible floaters. That counts as a pretty-much-even roster to me :)

Not to say more people can't sign up  [smilie=armata_pdt_34.gif]  [smilie=armata_pdt_34.gif]

you know what we are American damn it and thats what we do! drive big cars that get 7 miles to the gallon! while eating fast food as we throw the styrafoam cup out the window while driving 30 miles over the speed limit listn' to your music as loud as you can! making fun of the japanese drivers and when you see the arab in the other car you can't help yourself from thinking Derka Derka Derka! damn it thats american right there! and i'm hella proud to be one!

Alllllllllrighty. I consider myself firmly pro-American, but Pro-American does not equate to racist bastard. Arrogant statements like that are one of the primary reasons why most of the world actually hates us. Not like they can individually do anything about it, but enough people get pissed at us and we might find ourselves voted off the planet, so to speak.

Your post displays a disappointing amount of immaturity, and I'll pretty much leave that as it is.

We now return you to your regularly scheduled program.

If you plan on driving to, I assume, the San Diego store to buy something, I would call first -- we went and they didn't have much.

I'll be with Speedy, and I'll be calling them ahead of time to make sure they got/get what we're looking to buy before we get there :)

Is that game an offical AA game or is there no age limit?

Age limit for OPFOR games are 14+. They are NOT official AA games, even though we get AA folks down here every now and then to kick our butts around for a few scenarios.

With summer in full swing, I'm starting up my night game series. This game is the first in a series of dusk-to-night games which will be held at Sudden Impact.

Bring your night-vision, your tracer units, and your glowsticks, and let's have some good games in the dark!

SITREP:
There is a canister of biological agents being held in storage awaiting delivery to a makeshift weapons plant in Notitsislan. The Kheek men in posession of this canister are awaiting arrival of their chemical delivery specialist so they can assemble a makeshift biological weapon to deploy against the non-indigenous Knurds in the area. Arrival of the weapons specialist is imminent.

YOUR JOB:

UN Forces: Due to political instability in the area, the drop-off window only just opened. You must infiltrate the compund, eliminate resistance and capture either the canister or the weapon specialist. Further intel available en route.

Kheeks: The weapons specialist is due to arrive any minute. You must keep the compound secure until the arrival of the weapons specialist. There are reports of UN Forces en route to your location, so LOOK SHARP!

WHEN: 07/29/2006
WHERE: Sudden Impact Paintball Field, Marana AZ
FIELD FEE: $15 per person, comes with one coupon good for 5000 .2g BBs at Paintball Headquarters, Tucson's primary source for high-end Airsoft gear.

Start time is 7am. Meet and greet is at 6 am at the Conoco on Golf Links and Kolb. I have... 3 open spots in my car if anyone needs a ride from the Conoco. We leave the Conoco no later than 6:30am.

You are correct. I misread, and actually had no idea CA made a 170% spring. You learn something new everyday.

PBHQ on Prine west of Oracle has an Olympic Arms M15A4. It feels really good. So does the Classic Army AK74. Everytime I pick one of those up I get tempted to switch to an AK.

A 170 would bring the rifle right to the limits of being a semi-only sniper weapon. The tightbore would probably only edge it closer, and any sort of bore-up cylinder kit will most definitely push it over 500fps.

All are invited to another Team OPFOR-managed practice!

July 1st, Teams are Tan and Green. Other colors/patterns will be assigned AS NECESSARY to even the teams.

We will be beta-running some of the gameplay modifications that are coming up in Operation Terror Shade, to see if any adjustments need to be made to make the play better/more fun/more even.

So be first on your block to say that you beta-tested *airsoft* games, and sign up!

As someone who owns a number of handguns, and have for over a decade at this point, I just felt like adding in my 2 cents on this issue. Tell me to get back in my lane if you like, but based on personal experience:

1) The FIRST thing you say to an officer (right after saying hello, sir, of course) is that you have a weapon in the vehicle. When doing so it helps put the officer at ease if your hands are visible to him when you say it. Don't hold up your hands in the air, I suggest putting them on the windowsill next to you. It also helps if you have already killed the ignition in the car. Biggest point here is to be upfront, non-confrontational, and agreeable about it. Putting the officer at ease makes the rest of the process easier.

2) The officer may direct you to either hand the weapon to them (unusual) or direct you out of the vehicle so they can retrieve the weapon themselves (typical). Follow all instructions to the T.

3) If you're carrying concealed without a permit, expect to be shoved up against something. Learned that one the hard way when I first got here.

4) Keeping calm is of absolute necessity when dealing with law enforcement while in the possession (concealed, open carry or otherwise..) of weapons. You WILL run into a rookie who gets excited and starts pushing buttons, at some point. Just swallow it and keep calm.

Just a few observations coming from someone who has encountered all of the above situations and resolved them with no fuss, and not one single misdemeanor to speak for it.
