I am pretty sure that the P90 gearbox is not compatible with either of the v2 or 3 gearbox.  From what was said, it's a v6 gearbox and replacement parts are *very* hard to come by.  It even requires special metal bushings for upgrades.  This is one of the big reasons that the P90 isn't one of the more popular AEG's.  As far as an FTK for it; I don't think they make one.  Best bet would be to e-mail AirsoftExtreme asking your upgrade options.

They do make a FTK, and going off that info, I guess my best bet will just to be to get it instead of hunting for parts.

Alot of the P90's gearbox parts come from different versions. I believe that the piston comes from a v2 gearbox. Don't quote me on that though.

p90 internal parts compatability
« Reply #3 on: July 19, 2002, 01:48:50 AM »
I just bought Scott's p90, and thinking about it, I havent a clue as to which parts its compatable with. I am going to buy a FTK for it, but i also wanna get a silent piston head, and I wasnt sure which one to choose from. Gearbox 2, 3? With a piston head I'm guessing either would work, but for the spring guide, etc, if I didnt get a FTK, I'm still curious as to which would be compatable. Ideas? Thanks in advance.

PS: Jason, the forum clocks are 1 hour off. ;P
