Tactical Response Training
« on: March 16, 2006, 02:52:52 PM »
The root word to "gunfight" isn't "gun". It is "FIGHT"!

I just finished watching the DVD "Fighting Pistol" put out by Tactical Response. It is a great resource for training and information about using a gun in a violent encounter. It covers mindset, basics, tactics, general guidelines and legal issues involved. I learned a lot from this video and know now that I have even more to learn and hone with my pistol. It has everything you need to know from what gun to chose to what to do after you have shot and killed someone.

Here is a Trailer!

I am excited to attend one of their classes and make a payment on my skills.

Videos alone cannot train you fully but this was a great intro what I do need to learn.

Check out the weapons classes at Glendale Community. They're taught by cops, including the commander of the police academy, and a SWAT officer for MCSO. They are awesome classes!

You can take:
Firearms 1 & 2 (CCW and tactical pistol)
Firearms 3 (long weapons)
Firearms 4 (precision rifle/tactical rifle)
