G&G GR15 trigger problems
« on: May 08, 2011, 01:13:03 PM »
ok so i JUST bought a G&G gr15 blowback. i used it for 8 hours at vanguard and an hour into it my gun was firing weridly on semi auto, and now it fires a 2 shot burst every few shots on semi, and on full auto it fires a few more bbs after i take m finger off the trigger. i took the battery out and pulled the trigger and i think the cut off lever is like making a clacking noise and rubbing up against the trigger, does anyone know whats wrong? is this a simple or more complex fix? can this be fixed without having to go into the geabox? any help would be great

P.S. my G&G combat machine did the exact same thing and it took vanguard 4 trys (maybe, not sure if they fixed it yet) to fix it so just a little more info

if it happened on your first g and g then it is not likely going to be Alex's fault it didn't get fixed(eg $h1tty parts). I have also had issues with there mp5 gearboxes, similar issue. You could try another harness and cutoff lever from the same company.  No guarantees that will defiantly fix it, but i know Alex didn't replace any parts in your gearbox. Oh yeah you are going to have to go into the gearbox to fix it. If i was in your position i would use it until it fails completely, because it isn't that big of an issue. SInce if the cutoff lever was damaging the trigger components it would have "likely" failed in that 8 period you were playing with it.
