PMC Airsoft Team
« on: November 11, 2010, 03:29:26 PM »
I let my mind wander at work today and came up with an idea and wanted to see if it would be of interest to anyone. I was thinking about starting up a PMC format Airsoft team. Would anyone be interested in this?

I think most teams already sort of do this, there are usually quite a few PMC-style loadouts at most of the games I attend.  I don't want to discourage your idea, I think having another team to organize events couldn't hurt.

Yea, I am mainly trying to start another team due to the fact that no one is looking at adding people.

^ Just to let you know a good number of the "teams" are just groups of friends that get together and wear the same patch.

Mhmm I thought I would try something a little different. We had actual sanctioned teams in Florida and it worked well.

Hmm not a bad idea. The more teams the marrier, right? I wouldn't mind being on a team which went to/held events and whatnot. Would we actually have to dress like PMC operatives at games though? I like my ACU uniform. :P

I was thinking along the lines of no blue jeans. More like ACU, MARPAT, solid earth colors, or any combination of both.

Works for me :). Also what kind of age group/limit did you have in mind?

i have a PMC~ish kind of team.

we like to think of it as a mercenary squad being that we tend to do our own thing and have our own radio com.

were still getting the uniforms set up but its going to be;

5.11's pants or O.P.S. DDAP's   black or cyot
black chest rig that fits your needs.  so far no one has got a molle style  its all backpacks and battle belts/ body armor.

blk/cyot/or grey shirt.
blk or cyot BB jackets or 5.11/bdu's

any gun that takes a M4 mag

we got a
demo  (home made RPG and grenades m4) (soon mines to*
sniper ( eyes and dj)
support (lipo/hi cap)
medic/SL/Driver ( M4 & team made map)
runner/striker ( p90/ full foam body armor/radio) aka  that guy who just ran throught  our lines screaming they went that way...)

just bought a landcruiser for the group and will be starting to play weekly once everyone gets  the last of their gear.

were all friends from outside  the forum that  i got to play and join a team i am on, we have defected from SVTR until  the fearless leader gets back and starts telling us what games we go to hahaha.

get afew friends to save up a team fund and pool money, it works wonders for getting things done O:)
