Blonde wood like that on the M1 is fairly rare, am I correct? At least for the time period it was (if I'm not mistaken). Unless it's been bleached over time, I'd say that that stock is something I'd keep for quite the while. I hardly seem any blonde wood on anything. I kinda like it myself. [:D]

Brand new in the box Norinco Model 99 "side-by-side" coach shotgun

US Navy MARK-1 Springfield 1903 "dummy" training rifle (a rare collector's item)

Springfield Armory M1 Garand - manufacture date is March 1945 (WWII). Mostly NM parts; shot very little.

BRAND NEW Springfield Armory M1A "National Match" (with ALL USGI parts!). Manufacture date for this rifle is in 1977. I know I won't be able to shoot this one, so she'll be a safe queen/display piece.  Of ALL my rifles that I own and have owned, this one DEFINITELY takes the cake.  [:D]
