Need a little help

Hey guys this is gonna sound a little wierd but does anyone here know how to break down a PKC or RPK Light machine gun??
I'm in Iraq right now and I'm stuck trying to take the barrel off of a captured weapon.
So far all searches for an online manual have been fruitless ( Or blocked by the retarded search filter on the military computers.)
If anyone can offer any help It would be appreciated!

I don't think you can remove the barrel in the field though.

Yeah I began to doubt it too. I took off a shitload of screws from the carry handle but just ended up throwing it back together and stickin it in the arms room.
Still would like to know but its not super important.

Not sure about a PKC, but the barrel on a RPK shouldn't be removed [then reinstalled and fired] unless you know what you're doing.

I'm out of the shop until Monday, but I will ask the guys at work for some schematics and instructions for you.  Let me know if you need help with any other weapons.  If I don't know, I can find someone who does.  Don't be afraid to ask.

Since it [most likely] work-related, you won't get into too much trouble if you bypass the filters for an internet search.  I still recommend using an MWR machine, rather than your SIPR or NIPR.

Maestro, call me I have some news.  And change your location, unless you cut Terminal leave short and went BACK to the Stan. :lol:

Firehead, or you could just tell us how.  Then show us the "Starman" video.  :lol:

PKC is the same way (ie don't take off the barrel).  

Nearly every AK field strips the same way.  I say "nearly" only because I leave room for some chance of ignorance on the topic.  But I'm fairly confident.
