I beg to differ on DPMS.  You don't want to know how many AR's I have, and at least half of them are DPMS.  DPMS rifles have tighter chambers and will require a bit more breaking-in than most other AR's, but you are also rewarded with a slightly more accurate AR in my experience.

Since the move from an ASP site to PHP, there are a LOT of links and pages that *REALLY* need to be updated and fixed.  I hope to be able to get to that soon.

I have a nice Russian (Tula Arsenal) SKS I'd sell...  SKS's are great first guns for those who don't want a .22.  They are a centerfire rifle and 7.62x39 is very inexpensive.

General Airsoft Discussion / 12/9/05 Forum Down Time...

Yesterday, Friday, the server that hosts this site was experiencing some strange things, namely php would use up all the system resources.  The site was taken down and I have moved it to a new server on a different ISP.  I stayed up late last night doing this.  I moved the DNS records over last night as well, and those can take up to 72 hours to propagate which means that from now until Monday, the forums will work for some, but not for others.

You may have also noticed that some of the parts of the site are not yet functional - namely the ASP pages.  This server was on a Windows 2003 machine and now it's on Linux.  I don't have any ASP installed, so I am trying to deecide which route I want to go.  Please bear with me as I try to improve things and get everything back up.

The only posts I prune here are the ones in the Games Discussion forums.  Those are done yearly.  I try to keep all the other posts.

I will rebuild the search index today.  There are almost 60,000 posts on this site so it will take a few hours to do, so you can try your search again later this evening, or tomorrow just to be sure.

Sorry about the downtime.  It was due to an update on the server that was not approved by me.  It has been fixed.  Also working on the MySQL server and should be back to 100% soon.  The site may be a little slow while it's being worked on.
