NRA and CCW classes

I recently became an NRA certified firearms instructor for Pistol and personal protection and certified through DPS to teach CCW classes. I teach at work right now but I am going to start teaching on the side. Would anyone be interested in some classes?

CCW 8 hour course:  $60
CCW 2 hour renewal course: $40
NRA Basic pistol shooting course:  $100 (10 hour class, course materials included)
NRA Basic personal protection in the home: $150 (Portions of class taught by a law enforcement officer. Course materials included.)

What do we need to have for a class, and where are they going to be located? After the $60 is there any additional fee for getting a CCW licence or is that the fee.

Dps charges $65 for the license. I am charging $60 for the instruction and I also do the finger printing and paper work you need. The license is good for 5 years.

The items you will need are a pistol (the one you intend on carrying) and 200 rounds of ammo, paper, and pen.

My concealed carry permit expired in '95 (AZ).. Can I still take the renewal class?

No you will have to take the full 8 hour class.

As a plug for him, I was similarly certified for 10 years and the instruction you'll recieve is very good.  Especially the personal protection end of it.  You'll learn things that you already knew, but never really gave much thought to, and it's that stuff that will save your life.  I recommend the courses highly.

I hope to start by next month. Just need to finish up the user agreement. I will schedule a time next month for the CCW classes. It will most likely be on a Sunday.
