Info on CB2 has only been disseminated to members of the RAID club.

If CB2 happens after OEF, I can't go. 8)

Nawww, he's just teasing those who like to have a limited budget when it comes to gear.

But who actually knows anything about CB2?

I hope you're not serious. On both accounts.

I think I might be out too. I want to go in the worst way (I haven't missed an airsoft game in months) but , it's a lot of money to go play for seven or so hours and then have to drive all the way back. Takin' three days off work, spending like, $500 , and then having to drive almost 34 hours just doesn't seem worth the patch.

I'm sorry I failed you guys, I was very gung-ho and 100% about this until like, I dunno, what, three days ago? This entire OP seems hastily constructed and poorly presented. How the f*ck am I supposed to plan for a game I am supposed to pay for tomorrow if I don't know anything about it? I'm real disappointed with John Ru. This was supposed to be a 3-day weekend game and now it's like, one piddly day?

I agree... I was excited to go, but doing more driving time than playing time is too much for a one day event.

There is no solid information at all yet, except that there will, at some point, be a Cold Burn 2.

This was an email from John Lu

Attention Texas based players, after a discussion with Austinwolv and BBmagnet,
we've decided to offer Texas based players the first crack in registration for
OPNS, afterall, this is WHY we're coming to Texas in the first place.  You have
TWO days before alumnis from our past ops get to sign up (veteran sign up).

Webmaster Boris is moving tomorrow to his first home (congratulations) and will
be out of commission for a couple of days, hence, we're doing it the old fashion
way.....just in case :)

OPNS highlights:

Date: Mar. 3rd Friday registration and Night OP
Mar. 4th Saturday, full day OP till 6pm

VIPs: Col. Paul Longgrear leading Golf CO in desert BDU and MSG Mullen leading
Hotel CO in woodland (US Army standard like previous LC and IRENE, please don't
ask about other patterns).

AO: A 4-street-block movie set outside of DFW (Dallas/Ft. Worth, TX)

OPI-III rules of engagement applies (any changes will be posted in the forum).

ADM: $135 general and $100 for returning alumnis

Countdown begins tomorrow, Jan. 19th.

Please post all questions and concerns in the forum www.oplionclaws.com   THANK
YOU!!

Lionclaws

I could lean either way on this one..
« Reply #40 on: January 18, 2006, 01:27:51 PM »
but.. why don't we save our money from this one and similar to last year "donate" it for props and so forth for CB2? I think that'd be badass.

my 2 cents

One day, $100? That's a little much. I think that I may wait for Irene or OLC V.

So far 3 are for sure still going.. anyone else ??

Yes its a lot of money for a short amoutn of time and I don't fault anyone not going.  Having been to Irene I am confident that Night Scorp won't even come close, so if you can only do one, do Irene.
