If you're going to VIP I would assume you live on the east side. You have wild west which is out doors which attracts a bit of an older crowd and the game play is a bit more laid back. But don't go any other day than Saturday because that's the only day this field hosts airsoft. There's is also APC closers to central phoenix which is indoor. I haven't personally played there but have been wanted to give it a try. And lastly there's Fighter town out on the westside. This place is a bit of a drive but its well worth it imo. It has diverse fields and if you go on Sundays you'll run into some of the squads here in AZ if you want a bit more of an organized play style. Welcome to the sport!

I was told by a rep that Fighter Town's milsim types come on saturday evenings.

Would Sunday be in the morning, or evening?

As long as it's on the weekends and Fridays, I'm interested.

I'd like to find an airsoft venue and time slot that attracts mostly adults and experienced players.

Can any of you point me in the right direction?

Thanks!

I'm Tremor...until you meet me in person of course ;)

I'm a college guy. I just got started in airsoft. I've got my own rifle and handgun plus attachments. I found this forum googling the word combination in google.

I tried laser tag-- I was dissatisfied with getting shot at with imaginary bullets and no dodge time. I tried paintball-- the hopper on top, need to entirely guess my shots, lack of a stock, and need treat the gun like a long range artillery cannon past 30-40ft disappointed me. :-\

So, I came to airsoft. My interest is... I guess "softcore" Milsim. I want to be with a crowd that likes the game for the fun of it, but that takes firing maneuvers and tactics seriously, and uses radios. 8)

I'm a weekend airsofter. My experiences have all been at VIP/Vanguard on Saturdays or Thursdays. I rarely see people there my age, and I would like to go to places at time slots where the players are my age and have a decent idea of what they're doing (I have nothing against guys younger than me, it's just kinda awkward being the only adult in the game).

If any of you share my milsim desires, live in Tempe, Scottsdale, or Gilbert, and do weekend airsoft, message me! :D

Hello Arizona! I'm a 5 year Marine Corps veteran getting back into airsoft. Last time I played was 6 years ago when I was stationed in Fort Worth, TX and a lot has changed since then. I'm kind of new to AZ (3 years) and am unfamiliar with the local shops and fields. I look forward to slinging some plastic with you guys!

Which part of AZ do you live?
