I am pretty sure you could just drop your M1 internals right into that stock...If not there is always a dremel and  epoxy for holes and such... If you want to have that end cut custom or something, send me a pic of what it needs to look like, I can probably get it done..might take a few days though.

I think.. tomorrow, ill stain the stock black. :-D

Staining the stock would look sweet, but the wood gives it that special something you don't see in alot of guns.
BTW, the gun looks extremly sexy. I really like the way the scope looks on your gun.

THANKS! And... I cant get black stain, so I got ebony stain, that will just make the wood dark as it can get without paint. And I thought it would be a bit like paint.. where you just paint it and let it dry for a half hour.. but NoOoOo, you gotta wait 5 hours between each coat...

And that scope does rock, I found it on wgc, then Andy found the same thing but real.. so its a real scope, just a ripoff of the real brand.. But I dont know if I want to take it off and put an eotech on it.. I want an eotech, because they are so bad ass!.. but I like the look of that scope on it.

And in other news... I think I might add the small swivel harris bipod to it.. :-D

UPDATE

Ebony finish done...

... I dont like it, I think ill sand it down and just paint it black. The ebony is too.. shiny, and it sticks to my hands too much, I just dont like it at all. If it was for show... sure, it would be nice, but I dont want this on a stand in my room I want to kick ass with it in games.

And another "mod" would be the easy hopup adjustment hole I drilled in the rail, it may look a little off center, but its perfect..

This way I dont need to take a bunch of shit off of it to do a little change in the hopup unit.

Did you have to dremel out a bunch of the rail or the gun?

Both..

As you can see, I had to drill a little off the sides at the top of the gap in the stock so that the bolts would be able to fit in the stock.

I had to dremel a BUNCH out of the rail just to get it to lay flat on the outer barrel.
It looks pretty bad huh? But.. from the outside you cant see it, and it works, what more do you need?

eh, the classic wwII version is... how it comes stock. and all I would need to do is take off the scope, change the stocks, and take off the rail, then its a classic WWII rifle.

Yeah, I always try to think of the resell price, when I resell my M1 carbine, I wont be able to say its not how it comes when its new, Because if the new owner would want it to be the scout version, he can make it the scout version, if he wants it to be the stock version, he can take off the buttplate, scope, scope mount, rail, change the inner barrels and outer barrels, and change the stock, then it will be like how it was when I got it.
