BDU help for civilians.
« on: June 10, 2005, 03:00:33 PM »
Where should the bottom cuff of BDU pants come down to before being tied up?

Normal inseam measurements seem to make the legs about four inches longer than it looks like they should be before being tied up either inside or above the boot (Another thing i'm not sure of).

(Can you tell i'm not ex-military? lol)

Thanks

It doesn't really matter, sometimes we just let it hang down to the boots, but to make sure it doesn't ride up too much I usually tuck about 1.5-2 inches inside my boot, then just fold it down over the top or whatever. You can also pick up some boot bands..
