It looks pretty nice. But still not worth the extra money that E1 tacks on. I would get the original company and upgrade it.

When I looked there was a $5 addition to the Echo 1 over the ?Well? and it has 3 extra mags... But I am also thinking about getting this gun as a project to heavily upgrade and modify

So far I am pleased with mine, compatible with all maruzen APS2 parts. For the money its one of the best snipers out there, as said its already shooting around 470, and a full cylinder upgrade kit can be had for around 35 bucks[gearbox has them]. comes with 3 mags as said before and a bipod.

As far as externals go, it takes airsoft stocks and real M4 grips.

I'm totally going to hijack this thread, as I'm going to be purchasing one in the near future with the intention of heavily modding it.

Rogue Fox,
what is the length of the inner barrel, and is it already a tightbore?
Is the gun silencer compatible in case I want to increase the inner barrel length- what conversions do I need to purchase?
I want to get the longest tightbore possible (from what I've seen, 650mm for a PSG-1 plus), but they only come in 6.03's
The longest 6.01 that I could find is 550mm- how much longer/shorter is that than the stock ASR barrel?

The stock inner barrel is actually slightly shorter than a normal aps2 inner barrel which is like 490mm if I remember correctly

I had a chance to use this gun this weekend and i must say. From what i could tell it is worth the money. The platform seems very solid, the bolt pull for 500fps is very light. I can say that when i come up with the money i'm going to have one.

I'm not 100 percent sure but I don't think it's silencer compatible

It silencer compatible but you need an adaptor which is in the neighborhood of $25 I think...

The adapters do NOT work. Well goes through the trouble of threading the end of thier outer barrels but makes the diamater the wrong size. so all maruzen compatible adapters will not fit the ASR.

And to be honest, theres not much more to do to them after you get them. A tightbore and thier upgrade kit should be all you need. Mine was shooting 445 when I took it to gearbox last friday. So the upgrade kit would put it right around 500, mabey a little more once I put a tightbore in. And theres really no reason to put a longer barrel in it, the best part about the ASR[besides the price] is its maneuverability.

Guess I shouldn't plan too much before I actually get it.
Okay, I will take your word for it.
