All new to me
« on: June 06, 2014, 10:19:34 PM »
Hey everybody, my name is Sam.  I'm 23 and am a recent transplant from NorCal.  I moved here for my job, and I've been seriously considering picking up airsoft as something to keep busy and active on the weekends.  So here I am checking out your community which will hopefully convince me to pony up some dough and get on the field.  I'm up on the northern edge of Phoenix (Happy Valley) but can cruise to most anywhere where the games are good.  So how's the action during the summer? Are indoor fields the preference here during that time?  Got any general tips or wisdom to share?  Anybody got recommendations for games/fields near me I should check out?

On a completely unrelated note, I'm very knowledgable about aircraft, military and commercial, and will not hesitate to tell you way more than you want to know about airplanes if you ask.  =)

VIPAirsoft (Gilbert) is a pretty good spot to play during the summer. I also used to live in NorCal, and I doubt you want to play outdoors here. (I miss the weather) Anyway, if you want to play outdoors, check out Fightertown in El Mirage. Both are fairly close to where you live.
Tacos, airsoft, PC, music, and air. That's all I need.
So, anyone into audiophilia?
