I'm going to see if I can swing this game as I have a lot going on around that time, but I *love* the copper basin AO, and haven't been there in 2+ years

Same, but the whole no MC is probably a dealbreaker for my group. Sad

Reason we decided to keep mc out was several reasons. 1 multicam usually shows up out numbering both green and tan. Which will lead to 3 factions. 2 the confusion with mc, looks green in certain distances or tan in certain distances. 3 mc is, I think a big advantage in camo over the other camo. 4 we kinda wanted to go back to old school camo combat. Green vs tan.

I'll agree that MC usually unbalances things. Almost everyone who's into airsoft is going to be into real steel, and you're going to get overlap with gear decisions between the two.

The purpose of MC is to blend, hence why it looks green / tan at different ranges; and I realize that this is a game, not real training.

May I politely propose that those who are in MC be divided (but keeping friends grouped together), so that we even things out? We can then assign half to tan and half to green and identify all with tape.  We used to do that in the old days; "wear whatever color you want, we will assign colored arm bands, red vs blue", or pick two colors.

For those who are super irritated about colors sticking out, there is also the combination of one team with the common white-ish / tan masking tape, and the one team without. The way we did it, the bands were large enough on your arms and barrel such that it'd be easy to identify that person either way: Obvious bands? He's on the banded team.
Obviously no bands? He's on the non banded team.

I'm in Utah ATM but I'd love to come down for that weekend for this game. The first Prescottonia was and is still my favorite game ever.

Living in Prescott Valley, not formally on any team but I will help spread the word. I've got a new big RPK to deploy.

You dont have to be on a team to play. If you need a squad to run with, we can assign you with someone.

See in the old days of AA we used to show up in woodland or dcu. Choco chip was acceptable but it made the game much easier. MC is hard to distinguish. I say if it's a deal breaker to NOT wear MC stay home for this one.
