This is how to play a guitar in standard tuning. May be a bit heavy for most..

I have used a r-hop in an m4. I can say it surely improves range; however it really needs to be perfect to get the most out of it.
Correct on the airseal parts, they need to be replaced.
For making a gun quiet the biggest thing is shimming. Sorbo pads help (I am also testing another sound dampening material). Having your inner barrel run halfway through a foam-filled silencer helps. I've heard of people coating their gearbox shell and stuffing their receivers with sound dampening material also.
I would recommend a SHS 15 steel tooth piston. The "silent" piston&head assemblies don't help silence the gun. It's just a marketing scheme.
POM piston heads are a little quieter, helps if you get a POM cylinder head also.
A Lonex A1 motor will likely be quieter than a TM eg1000. They have much more torque; making it easier to pull the spring and less noise.

For the new parts list: the guarder nozzle is good
Stick with solid steel bushings
Get a Lonex POM piston head
New cylinder isn't needed unless you're changing barrel length. Be sure to match air volume with the appropriate cylinder
If you get the ER hop, you need the EM nub to match it.

Overpriced for what they are. Also, some of the parts aren't necessary. Get the internals from either clandestine or locally from Spazz, who carries SHS and CORE parts.

$20, with 16 and 22 awg FEP wiring. For compression parts, I've had best results with Lonex.

Anything over 455mm barrel isn't necessary.
XYT, GE, or JG 18:1's will be fine. If you want trigger response, high torque gears aren't wanted.
Any neo torque motor will work. Lonex A1 is recommended.
Hop up chamber doesn't matter, stock one with tuning is fine.
Get ER hop with EM nub.. This is a DMR after all.
Ditch all the magic box parts.
For wires, I recommend 16awg FEP of PTFE.
I make and install MOSFETs if you are interested. Rated for 14.8v lipo batteries. MOSFETs are a must for DMR's.
For bb's, king arms .36's are pretty good.

Troubleshooting / Re: MOSFET Diode
« on: October 14, 2012, 03:37:25 PM »
The 2.2k and 100ohm resistors will be fine. What MOSFET are you using? P or N channel? Most MOSFETs have internal diodes. Just look at the data sheets on digi key. Compare whatever you are using to the irlb3034pbf.

Both Warlord and I cut sorbo pads, you can get those from us if you choose.
