Rewiring to the stock
« on: July 19, 2006, 06:14:40 PM »
I got a G36K R.A.S. kit in the mail today and when I got it put on I realized there is no room for a battery. Now I'm trying to rewire the gearbox to use a battery attached to the stock via battery bag. I've already gotten the wires hooked up by drilling a tiny hole in the stock and puttimg the wires through it (it works) but I can't get the lower reciver all the way back in to the body because the connectors are to big (by like 1/2 an inch) and designed to go forward not backward. Any suggestions or links that would help?

Do you have any pics and/or basic instructions?

Meh it doesn't look that bad but I don't like exposed wires so I try to keep it minimal. I found out a way to get the lower reciver all the way in; I just have to dremmel out a small divet type thing in the body and lay the connectores in it. I started about 1 hour ago but I can't finish until tommorow because my parents are already asleep
