KWA M4A1
« on: January 01, 2009, 06:55:51 PM »
just bought this thing and took it out to play when all of a sudden it stops shooting on me. I'm thinking it's the new battery it came with, because we tried it on my friends battery and it works just fine. Except i fully charge it, why would it be losing power in like 2 minutes. Can a battery just malfunction like that and lose power instantly? PLZ help

What size battery are you using? Volts? MaH? I'm willing to bank on saying your friend is using a higher rated or better quality battery. The smaller battery could be a factor on a KWA because it comes with a heavier spring then a Marui or CA. Might want to also check motor alighnment, if its not finely adjusted it'll sound like garbage (and tear things apart eventually) and take more battery power to cycle it.

Your wires might have something wrong with them. Maybe something that is causing a lot of resistance.  Try a new fuse (wouldn't hurt to try another battery either) and have it looked at.

Could be just a bad battery. Take it to a Batteries Plus and have them test it.
