OPERATION: HARD BEAN XLI !!! Beans of the Patriots!
When: May 9th, early in the morning
Where: Some AO out by Casa Granda, directions to follow.
What: Nation if Green is invading the Nation of Tan.
Who: Green forces vs. Tan forces
The plan is to be at the AO at 7am to beat the heat. The AO is out by Casa Grande - directions to follow.
Post up if your going and what your wearing. And remember, ages 18+ only.

Directions:
From the Sunland Gin Rd exit, head south 1 mile. At approximately that point you will see a phone pole, turn right on to a dirt road. The AO is 1 mile down this dirt road. The parking area will be at that point (see other map).

Lyle - Do it.
Its just past Casa Grande. You can take either the first or second exit after you pass it. Easily car accessible.
I know a few people have been there. Its a pretty cool AO.
On another note, the Team Phantom guys are also hosting a night game there so if you want to be hardcore you can make a a whole day of it.

The pit itself if much bigger than that, the pic only shows the main area of play. also...expect some paintballers out there bitching about wanting to play..

We talked to the paintballers last week. They said that they come out every two weeks. They are going to come out this weekend so that we can have the field on the 9th. At least we know SOME of them will not be there.

directions are a bit bleak... might go with my Pops if I can't get a ride.. map quest says it's 37.01 miles before the "first or second exit"??? do you guys think that close enough for a good time?

One shot reed, would be more than happy to give ya a ride. just give me like 10 bucks or 5 for gas and it'll be all good.
One more thing, Any FPS rules and such? I am shooting 470 with semi auto only aeg sniper and around 350 with m4 full auto.
Count Me in ACU (tan) whatever spots you need. I am really looking forward to playing with some more of the older gents who have been playing for then just my measly 2 years.

400 FPS for AEGs w/ .20
500 FPS for Semi only airsofts w/ .20 - 100ft no shoot zone - that means if your target is within 100 ft you can't shoot them.

I didn't know you could get in that way either. EACairsoft used to play a game out there once a month. Some people called it dustbowl, I called it Toltec. I MIGHT actually be able to make it out to this one... if so, count me green.

Yeah thats the way my team usually gets in, its the shortest way coming in from CG. I actually find it alot easier to navigate since theres only a few roads to turn on compared to coming off of toltec road with like 20 side roads to choose from.
I will be showing up around 6 for the night game tho, anyone planning on staying for that also?

Thats 3 miles too early.
If you are heading east on I-10 get off at Toltec rd. (exit 203). Take your first right after you turn onto toltec (its houser road but im not sure if there is a sign there). Houser eventually turns into a dirt road. You will want to turn right on the 11th road (Pantano Valley rd. on google maps) and take that until you see a huge pit in the ground.

Your right about the toltec road being nicer, a car can make it using the sunlan-gin route but its much more technical.

The truck stop is on the west side of that exit.
The scenarios will probably take us to about noon time, and after that we will go as long as people want.

Thanks everyone who made it out, I had a good time. It was a bit hot, but such is the az summer. It was an interesting AO to be sure and one I would not mind playing at again since its strategically between Tucson and Phoenix and offers a nice amount of terrain for small to medium size games.

yeah great game, I would have liked to seen more action in the area where the people were paintballing, very intresting AO, one thing that there needs to be is better markings for the turnoff, you said turn at the telephone pole, but there was kind of an enitre row of poles on the road.

Good game everyone! This was my first time experiencing this AO. Cool spot for sure.
