Game at C1 Tuesday October 13th
« on: October 04, 2009, 04:57:35 PM »
This is not a major milsim game, just whoever would like to get in some shooting or even some field testing, there will be a game on the 13th at the Covert one field at 08:00am to whenever everybody is too tired. There is no RSVP nor fee's required. Water WILL be provided but bring YOUR OWN SNACKS AND AMMO!!! Neither of these will be provided. There are no FPS restrictions as long as the gun doesn't have more than 425 FPS for AEG's. Other than that everything is fair game. DO NOT call other peoples' shots. If you shoot them and they want to keep getting shot that's their choice. Dummy grenades and other bb launchers ARE allowed. WARNING- a handfull of bb's is not a grenade. We will meet in the desert area just outside the parking lot.

Depending on how people go will decide what games we play or the general consensus of the attended. For people new to the field is is recommended that you wear boots that are study. FACE PROTECTION IS REQUIRED. Knee pads and maybe even elbow pads are entirely up to you, there is a large amount of concrete rubble is some places. Chest rigs are also highly recommended to all. Teams will be determined by armbands, seeing how most people only have one kind of camo or none or want to wear a certain kind, so, if you have a red bandanna or rags please bring it and any spares you might have.

There are no magazine capacity restrictions so bring 'em all! Personally i prefer my 2,500 round drum mag but its up to you guys!

If you and friends can go please post or p.m. so! A head count would be nice! (for the purpose of knowing how much water to bring) If not you may miss out on cold delicious FREE water.

Walk-Ons ARE ALLOWED just be aware of the above statement.

Anyway hope to see some of you out there!

If further details on when and where are need please p.m. me.

Uh no. Sorry it isn't fancy or anything. Just letting people know that some buddies are getting together to airsoft a bit now that the weather is cooling off and I just thought I'd mention it on here. Why would you think I'm joking?

This is at the Northwest corner of Recker and Thomas.

You are asking for some serious trouble with those rules. I don't care if its fancy or not, just don't get fucked up out there. It would reflect bad on all of us

Well firstly I didn't really state the game rules. Once people arrive we will be heading further out and completely out of view and hearing range of the park. Rules and such will be discussed once everybody is ready to go and geared up. When me and my friends go we just discuss what type of match it is going to be played and which shots count (Usually we do lethal shots only or we do three hits to either the upper arms/legs or one shot to the head.)

You just realize you gave every player permission to come and shoot you with any non aeg gun right? With no crono I doubt anyone would even follow the 425 rule, granted not all airsofters are douches but it only takes one lost eye or tooth to shut down your op for good.

Ok so you're saying people are going to come shoot us up with snipers? Yeah sure they could but as soon as they do we will turn around and light them up. If someone has a gun that shoots higher than 425 we could feel it. The whole 425 FPS thing is a guideline, if they show up with it then nobody (That is the beginners that will be going) won't want to play and thus leaving them out. I think you're just still trying to play "Flame A. Woolsey". If so go read my post tittled "Hello".
If not, I stated in the original post that FACE protection is required. If someone doesn't have face protection they won't play.

i agree with exarach. how would you know that their AEG is 425 if there is no chrono? they could just say a number and you would believe them. and if you gave a no rsvp then why would you want a head count? there should be some organization to this game even if it is just for fun. lack of it results in someone loosing something or getting hurt.

First, you are the same person. Second im not flaming you, its not worth my time. Third I was legitimately trying to protect you from legal whiplash. Lastly, here is my point, under your rules, I will turn up to play, my rifle is stock, shoots a consistent 2800FPS and uses 7.62. And the best part is.... Its not an AEG!!! so it can be over 425 FPS yay! Until you have expelled someone who is using a "custom" "sniper" that has near pellet gun velocity, you really aren't going to acknowledge  what these "toys" can do to you. And what the parents will do to you makes a 700FPS blast to the chest seem like a rainfall.
Im not trying to bash your parade because you are "A. Woosley" Im trying to point out that you are consistently missing the point. If you are going to host these games, you need to step up to the level of forethought and maturity that goes with them. Now go play your games.

Oh it's THIS thread again. Dumb kid hosting unsafe, poorly structured game in a very questionable area.  Board jumps on him for being dumb.

So far we have about 8 or 9 people, it won't be anything extravagant, just some shooting of the friends. Not many people from here are going because they are afraid someone will show up with a stronger gun than them but I could care less if many people show up from here. I just wanted to see if anyone on this site would want to go to a match that me and my friends are holdin. And as for the rude comments, everyone got mad at my brother for making dumb posts but now that I'm back they think it's still my brother, it sortof sucks but oh well, it's not like i can really do anything about it if they don't want to believe me.  [smilie=armata_pdt_02.gif]
