Hi, my name is Joe.  I went to the Second Chance event with my older brother Chayote and got hooked on the game.  Currently in the military stationed at Davis-Monthan AFB.  Right now all i own, sort of, is a cheap electric AK47, but once I find out where the armoury on base is I plan on buying some more weapons.

Sup everyone, my name is David, and my friends and I just recently got into airsofting. I had no idea that there was such a huge community in Arizona, and it’s kind of a relief. Finally I can look forward to games with more than 6 people :D.

Hey, my name is Joe. I live in Colorado but have family in the Pheonix and Tucson areas and visit every December. I am the leader of Task Force Delta for about 2 years now. I started playing paintball then made the switch. I am hoping to get out to a few games this winter with you guys.

Either you forgot the "1" before his age, or you are out of your mind!

If he is indeed NINE years old, YES, BY ALL MEANS, HE IS TOO YOUNG!

I'm not telling anyone how to be a parent, but I am surprised at how young some of these kids are these days.  Pretty soon, we are going to start seeing toddlers out on the field.  "Hey, if he can hold the gun, he can use it", huh?

I for one find it boring to play with anyone younger than 17.  I've met a few hardcore players that are 15-16, but for the most part I derive no pleasure from shooting minors in the face while they stand in an open field.  I don't know many adults that have fun playing with kids; there is just not much of a challenge!

Ok, let me get this straight for all of you who don't know me personally.

I have nothing against kids.  I was 13 once, not too long ago in fact, and remember exactly what its like.  I enjoy what they have to say and show them the respect they deserve.

However, I do not want to hang out with them, and I don't want to be friends with them.  I'm 23.  When I go out on Saturday night, it's not with kids.  When I go to work, it's not with kids.  When I go play airsoft, why would I want to play with kids?  It's not that their stupid, or that I dislike them, I simply do not find it enjoyable.  There is no challenge to it, and I almost feel bad when I shoot them.  Not my idea of fun.  I want to go out with guys that are my age or older, and are of my skill level or better.  If I'm not getting my ass handed to me by someone with a better gun, and better tactics, I'm not learning.  I have yet to meet anyone under 18 that can out-shoot me on the field.

When it comes to the forums, it's a bit different.  90% of the retarded sh*t posted here is by a minor.  Call it whatever you want ("Age Profiling" sounds good to me :) ), but I tend to be a bit less lenient towards minors.

So, in closing, don't think I hate minors or think they should be banned from playing airsoft.  I simply wish them to be a bit less chatty, and pay attention to what the big boys have to say.  There is something to be said for these young bucks, 15 or 16 years old, that come to every game and can hang with the older guys when the whistle blows.  By the time they are my age, they will be some awesome players!  Nothing can beat experience.

I hope you guys understand and keep this in mind next time I rip you a new one. 8)

Its nothing personal, we just have never played with anyone that young before. At are woodland games everyone is shooting 400fps. My brother is 9, and I would not let him play. Of course he is very sensitve, and alittle immature. I am sure your kid maybe a tuff little guy. However, that just would make me very paranoid in a game. On a side note I wish my Dad was as attentive as you.
