I've never seen that kind before, It's either fake(as in not a real model/not even a real gun), modified, or built from scratch.  I know of several people who build their own AKs from their own parts but modify it.  I could be wrong about this though.

Just because you've never seen a gun before, doesn't mean its a fake, there are a sh1t load of different guns, I'm pretty confident you don't know them all at the ripe old age of 17.......

I'm not 100% sure, so please correct me if im wrong, but it looks like an AK74 with some mods to it.

The caption under the photo on its original web page just said it was a shot of a Russian Army 'Special Forces' ('Spetsnaz') operative.

I'll check out that database, but if anyone knows if this is a specific model of the AK or just a personalized version, help me out.

By looking at it, its either a 12 or 20GA Saiga semi-auto shotgun.  They are made off of the same recievers as the AK, just with a wider magazine well to accept the shotgun shells, as well as a larger front trunion and barrel.
