They pop up from time to time, you just have to be in the right place at the right time to catch the deals.

Well that just sucks.  Jon, Ill buy you a real nice lunch in exchange for an invite to run some rounds through your uzi, or better yet your Thompson.  Its either that or bring 300 dollars to the gun club and shoot one at their indoor range.

Mr. Joseph, you do realize that his UZI and his current Thompson are not full-auto, right?

Harley, like I said, I haven't seen a legal RLL's or RDIAS's at those prices.  I've seen some OLD ads (eg - two years old) that show such *low* prices, but nothing recent.  Like I said, I will pay you $500 cash if you find one at that price...  hell, I'll pay you $1K if you find a RLL for $2K.  The reason I don't understand how you can get those prices on a RLL is that the current CIII RLL market bears selling them at about $6K+.  Are you sure that the $2K price isn't a price on one that a "friend" sold to someone at a low price?

Again, if you see prices like that, let me know, especially since I'm ready to plop down for a RR or RDIAS.

Joey, I'll let you know when the guns are ready to play with.  I'm running to the gun smith right now to drop off the UZI. [;)]

Paco, if I come across any cheap ads I'll send them your way.  I've seen them at 6k and 7k myself, but if you notice they don't sell either, they just sit there for ever.  Maybe 2k was low, it's been a while since I shopped for an LL, but still... anything more than 3 or 4K is way too much in my opinion and others as well from what I see on the classIII boards.  Hell you can buy a complete Group Industries UZI for 5K, Mac10's and Mac11's for 2 to 3K, so to me an LL is not worth any more than one of those.

Nice weapon you've got there. Now that you've posted pictures all over the site, you'll have to do the proper thing and invite us all to shoot it[:D]. Just kidding. Personally, I'm an M14/M1A fan But really guys just remember that the gun ban won't be let go of easily by some in congress or even the president. During his 1999-2000 campaign Bush said he would resign the Clinton gun ban law when it expired IF the bill got to his desk. So lets do our part and write our congressman and let them know how much bullcrap (other, more colorful words can also be used here)the whole law is (of course if anyone knows the last time someone was killed by a flash hider, bayonet, or pistol grips, let me know). Also just realize that Kerry has voted for or supported just about every gun control law known to man. But then again, he does hang out with Ted Kennedy. Anyway just think about it and then act.

Hey Shifty, are you still looking for an UZI?  J&G has a Norinco for $400.  Needs a stock, but then after Sept you'll be able to install a folding stock with no problems.  Give them a call before it's sold.  I just bought one myself locally for $400 as well.  I'm getting all the goodies together for Sept as well.

Of course I edited the pictures to make the barrel short.  The thumbhole stock is god awfully thick and hard to hold in even my large hands.  For around $100 you can buy the 5 necessary parts to make it 922r compliant and remove the thumbhole buttstock and install a standard stock.  The UZI only requires 5 parts since it only has a total of 15 imported parts in it from the list.
