So Andy.  Which would you recommend more, an SKS or an M1 Garand?  Is higher ammunition capacity prefered?

Bring both, use the Garand for the 200yrd (if they have it, never know the course set up until the day before.

Firepower is needed for the shoot and run portions (AR's, AK's, SKS's are perfect)

Cool Andy.  Thanks for the info.  I guess I'd better get some practice in the weekend before hand.  ;)

Crap I got plans for that Sunday, but I want to get into the 3 gun stuff. Let me know when the next one is Andy and I'll try to make it.

Its usually on every 5th Sunday of the month.  Reaver and I had our own "fun 3-Gun" non-match going.  Where you could shoot any weapon(s) you wanted.

Bunch of guys from azshooting are reporting the 3gun for this month is cancelled at Pima.  Andy if you have some contact info with the guys that run it, maybe confirm this?

Bummer, i really wanted to do this....heat don't matter.. :?

I'll email them and find out, or make a trip down on Sunday Morning and ask the organizers who usually shoot IPSC

I called the range today, they said as far as they know (and have planned) the match is still ON!

I can post the day before 100% go or no go, they always set up the day before, I'll head down there on the afternoon of the 30th and find out.  Is that too little notice for people to make plans??

Well they weren't setting up today, but now its raining like a Muther!!  The wash in fron will definetly be flooded.

Looks like the match is off, good news is I get to sleep in tomorrow (I was out shootn' coyotes today, only evil coyotes though....)
