Green Gass Issues
« on: February 07, 2013, 03:01:55 AM »
I'm sure this has come up one place or another, but my p229 GBB KWC Cybergun is only getting about 19 rounds out before going dry. Please note that the time between shots is 2+ seconds. I only receive 10 shots in a rapid fire test which has to do with the cooling effect of rapidly decompressing gas. These issues occur at 72F or room temperature. I am reading that many GBB are experiencing 1.5 - 2 mags worth of gas before expenditure.

Any tips?

Current fuel is generic labeled green gas 1000 ml cans. Output PSI 115 at room temp.

How full is your can? And just because your gas is warm the gun needs to warm as well or else you will experience the cool down effect. How long have you had the gun?

New can and gun. I have one factory mag and a store bought mag. Both perform equally. I assume summer AZ weather will increase mag life? Any mechanical areas of concern?

You may want to make sure all of your seals are properly lubed.  If its brand new, it may have been sitting in a warehouse for a while, and before that taken a long boat ride across the Pacific.
