its really hard to give you a good sudjestion.

But i have found the 1961a chest rig, and The molle battle belt setups to be really comfterble, and easy to move in

RRV + MBSS Hydration Pack.

I'll get pictures of mine in a bit. I've used the RAV, CIRAS, Weesatch, 1961A, LCE/ALICE gear, USGI Issued gear, and have liked this one the best.

I also have an MBSS rig thats good for when you don't need anything besides ammo and a bit of water.

Havs suggestion is great...but it is hard to pick one for another person. I mean if wearing a plate doesnt afford you the protection of it, then why wear it. Maybe sporting what will allow you to move and breath a little better. Also depends on what your teammates are rockin, you guys rag tag or going for the door kickin look. Either way the RRV is a good choice...IMO

I've had a couple RRV's and I've always been happy with them. Plenty of room for pouches, good adjustability, and far less cumbersome than a CIRAS. In fact I've got one for sale with a battle belt here:

I go totally light weight in field and cqb. All I carry if ammo, water, and my weapons (rifle, handgun, and knife). Everything about my loadout is based on maneuverability... my new chest rig, neoprene face mask, plastic waffle patterned mags (still very durable), and even my AK which i bought over other models because it is made from aluminum opposed to steel. I am thinking of mounting a grenade launcher even though it will way down my gun, but the benefits would outweigh the consequence (no pun intended). The only non-lightweight part of my gear is my helmet, but i use that to preform barrel rolls and such so that i have a nice round surface to roll on (it's made out of ABS so it isn't even that heavy). I would highly suggest trying a totally lightweight loadout, it makes it so that you aren't weighed down by a ton of unnecessary gear. Its also alot more budget friendly since you only have to buy a minimum amount of gear. I would suggest a light molle chest rig, hydration carrier, mag pouches, a pistol holster (if you have a handgun), and kneepads.

It will always be hard to find the best gear that will fit you. I can only tell you that I've gone through a lot of changes since I started as well, I've used ALICE, IIFS, CIRAS, and now I use a SO Tech Devil rig. I try to keep it simple and only bring what I need, which is usually just water, ammo, and maybe an extra battery/misc tools. In my experience going into a game loaded up for the apocalypse will just make sure you end much more fatigued that you needed to be.

sorry for the gramma.

i agree with    "deathbydanish" , i been playing for about 1 year and i always wanted a CIRAS...  i stared playing in a big field  and i only use the tactical vest.... the one doesn't have the MOLLE  . then we start playing C.Q.B and the Tactical vest was killing me,  and playing CQB i see that i  only need 1 M4 mag for my  5 MP5 mags....... so  i realized that i don't need a lot of gear to play airsoft even for those big field games.... i just need  a few MID - HI cap mags...water and somewhere to put my wallet.... that's it...

now i just use a chest rig..  like the first picture posted in this section but (ACU)...and i'm really happy with that.. and i have more energy for playing out there.

Sounds like everyone agrees that lighter is better, but if you decided to go with a CIRAS or anything else no one is going to call you out. Get what you like, then get something else...
