Airsoft campout 10-12 August 2012 same spot as usual up on the rim near Chevlon Canyon Lake and Creek, same rules for camping apply. It will be cold at night in 50's or maybe lower. Fend for yourself, bring your own food, camping and airsoft gear, and money for gas if you're riding with someone, and DBAD rules apply (Don't Be A Douche).
There will be night games and day games. We don't play by AA rules for this event, we play where you're only out if you get shot in the torso or head. If you want to be out when you get shot in the limbs that's fine, but not everybody will be playing like that, I sometimes go out when shot in the limbs cause I want a fresh start. Be a good sport and play fair.
We are playing away from the campsite. more than 150 Yards
We generally follow all AA rules with the exception of hits, lives, and revives. Here are our basic rules:
1) When you get hit in the Chest, Head, Back, Neck, and Stomach you lose a life
2) We usually determine the amount of lives before each game
3) In order to be revived you need a teammate to come lay both their hands on you and count to five
4) FPS no higher than 450 assault, snipers keep your distance
We will doing a few scenarios involving "Bombs", downed UAV, rescue the downed pilot, storm the castle type games, and a few others. We don't play in our camp so nothing will get destroyed by airsoft in our camp.
So far we have 9 people
We are meeting at the Chevron Gas Station on Recker and Brown in Mesa on Friday August 10th at 4pm and we will be waiting til 4:30pm If anyone wants to just follow us up there so you don't get lost.
