On another note, we will be deploying this nifty little toy at the event...Hakkotsu Hades Arrow Airsoft Mortar Launcher!  Mortar flies anywhere from 100 to 300 feet. We will be testing it out this weekend and trying to figure out how to incorporate into the game.  We don't expect to be firing it at people. Probably we will be targeting buildings or vehicles as part of mission objective.

I was just going to let all the comments pass, but to Mike's dismay, that's not going to happen.  For those who enjoy a good read, pull up a chair and grab you some sippin' lemonade, as I've got some spare time on my hands seeing I'm stuck at home sick, with nothing better to do than entertain all these negative comments.  Why so much negativity out there!?! Girlfriend been giving you the cold shoulder?

First off, DirtyKorean, let me respond to your loss of patronage. As airsoft revenue for the field equates to 2% of total yearly revenues and 98% of our revenue is generated by our tactical training portion of our business, there's no real loss there, so everyone can clearly see where you fit into the financial side of things. Airsoft is considered the hobby side of what we do. We do this for fun, with people we enjoy doing it with.

As for Paradox, please do explain about changing the post and the terrible ways I treated people. If you mean yelling at people for breaking safety rules and game rules, you're damn right I yelled at them. And I'll do it again.  See, when you come to play at our field, you have a chance to read all the rules upfront, and then we go over them verbally at the safety briefing and game briefing. And then if you still don't understand, we give you a chance to ask questions and we answer your concerns.  If you're not adult enough to understand and listen to what we have to say, then you are a liability and I have to yell at you like a small child in order to get your attention and to get you to stop what you are doing before any significant damage is done.  People's lack of respect for the rules can endanger/affect other people and their event experience and that is unacceptable as a land owner and field supervisor.

As for my original "terrible" comments, they are all there for people to read and see. If you like, I can expand on my thoughts and tell you what I really think. I've edited and modified it to make it more elaborate and fix any grammatical errors. That really bugs me. The only comments I've deleted are the comments about the Hakkotsu Hades Arrow Airsoft Mortar Launcher as I am trying to promote our new element to future events rather than letting you hijack our thread to promote your personal vendetta.

As far as charging customers $20 before, and $40 the day of the event, people were given two months to register early for free. Originally, I was going to charge everybody $20 for the event, but I decided to throw one last big OP as HWG to say thank you to many of the people who have supported us in the past and get a player count of 100 people.  Also, little known fact, my brother Mike asked me to cancel the event because he didn't think a free event was worth our time, and I told him I was going to do it because I wanted run at least one OP where we got 100 participants and I was hoping to achieve that goal by enticing people who have never been out to our field because we charge money.  I was hoping they would see the value of what we have and would encourage them to attend future Marauders Adventure Group events.

The only reason I started charging, was to offset some of the costs as things started to add up for props, supplies, the extra restroom facility, the 5 trips I made out there prior to the game to repair the field from the $1000 in storm damage so that everyone could experience the field the way it was intended to be experienced, and the fact that it looked like we were going to be well over 100 participants and I wanted to make sure we didn't exceed 120 due problems stemming from too many people attending.

Total revenues for the airsoft game last weekend were just under $300. That came from $200 in admission fees, $20 in donations, $40 in rentals, and $40 in gear sales.  So, maybe now you understand that I run these games for the fun of it at a financial loss, while trying to maintain a safe and enjoyable experience for the majority of the good hearted, well intentioned participants who come out to our field who give us almost no problems and I thoroughly appreciate their patronage.  The troublemakers and rabble rousers such as yourself can go to hell.

Now please do move on and stop trampling all over this thread about a event you don't plan on coming to.

damn it . SO much for hard core Milsim events IN state. I am starting too think some of the Older Generation AIrsofters are telling the Truth. That Real good Milsim's games are dieing off. Yes we got Lion claws  and Eastwinds But i want some good local Milsim games that are worth while. something that last 2 too 3 days maybe 5. roughing it out in the AO.  Constant alert for the enemy trying too scout a good ambush point. True this mostly may sound Like Eastwinds in the nutshell but I wish we can have something like that Here.

Now ill admit Milsim's are not every persons cup of Tea. and Even i do sometimes enjoy a good game at Tempe Paint and Airsoft But i will always when i can afford it jump back onto the old wagon for some more.  The Old black hawk down event in 2011 and the earlier HWG series of games are what got me Addicted too the sport. And Ill be Disappointed heavily If that Ever Disappears.

Now that i said my Peace.  We should be Thankful that Mike and Victor even give us any opportunity too use The Sandbox.  Like i said this Is not gonna be everyone's cup of tea. So if ya don't like it ya don't have too come.  For those who do like going out too events like this. I hope you have a Wonderful time and the event.

. Now i hope all of ya have good morning and enjoy the rest of ya lives.
