Airsoft Items FOR SALE / KWA G19 GBB ***Price drop***
« on: April 23, 2011, 01:56:06 AM »
Picked these up last year thinking I'd use them as force on force training tools or just cheap practice, but that hasn't ever really happened.

The G19 has an unmarked metal slide, metal outer barrel, heavy frame, and one mag. A previous owner appears to have removed the orange marking with heavy sandpaper, so you may want to use a much lighter grade of paper (I'd go REAL light, like 600 grit and just be patient if it were me) to remove the current paint, then repaint it yourself if you're looking for a nicer handgun. As it stands, this thing would work great as a field piece. It has a few spare parts including a Mil-Spec marked plastic slide and outer barrel, stock inner barrel, guide rod with recoil spring, new hop up bushing, new front sight (the one on there is a little buggered up for my tastes), an old magazine follower (doesn't lock down for loading, but otherwise works fine), and Part #27 (Gas chamber seal).

G19 w/ one mag and spare parts - $135

First post in this thread, followed by a PM, will get the items they state in their reply. I will be using the time stamps in this thread to decide who gets first dibs on what. Any questions, feel free to ask them.

I'm NOT interested in any trades at this time, since I'm using these funds to finish a few firearm projects. However, if you happen to have a like new condition Daniel Defense 16" mid-length, gov't profile, Cold Hammer Forged, and chrome lined barrel with complete FSB and very low round count, we'll talk. Otherwise, please don't waste my time or yours with trade offers! Thanks!

ETA: Pics! I can take more pics tomorrow in natural light if needed. The flash reflection adds what appear to be scratches and marks, but 90% of the wear is isolated to the front of the slide.

Gas Powered Guns / Re: Glock GBBs no longer imported?
« on: July 19, 2010, 01:30:00 PM »
Thanks for the replies, everyone.

Trades are a non-issue with me. They'd be "cool" to have, but I'm not looking for cool, really. Rather, I'm looking for a quality GBB I can use for practice that will last me a long time. I've got experience with KSC/KWA from back in the day, so I trust them, though TM and a few others makes great GBB's as well.

Regarding the import issue. If I were to order one and it got caught by Customs, I'm assuming they'd confiscate it and I'd just be out the money I spent on it, yes? I'm not sure that's a risk I want to take, if that's what'll happen.

ETA: I'm also looking for a G19, not a 17. Significant size difference there, and I'm trying to maintain the same feel I'd have when using my actual G19. I appreciate the heads up, though!

Gas Powered Guns / Glock GBBs no longer imported?
« on: July 08, 2010, 10:12:08 AM »
So, I've done a bit of looking around, and nobody that I'm aware of stocks any Glock GBBs. I've been out of the sport for a good long while, but my cousins and I are receiving some Glocks as gifts, and we are thinking of picking up some GBBs to practice with. However, I can't seem to find any in stock anywhere stateside, and the only other place I've found them over seas is at WGC Shop. I'd really rather not pay a customs duty fee, since I've done that once already, and it tacked on a good $35-40 to the cost of the pistol.

So, am I just not looking in the right places, or has Glock taken action against these being imported?

2001 Kawasaki ZX6R. Needs a lot of work thanks to the preview owner. Valve job, carb cleaning/parts replacement, other nick-nacks. Gonna start tearing it down here soon, I think. :( I'd love to trade it in, but don't think I'd get much for it, and don't want to deal with payments right now.

Airsoft Equipment Specials / Re: AEX SECRET SQUIRREL SALE!

Ladies and gentlemen, I stand corrected. The requirements for getting the sale just seemed a little far fetched, so I (incorrectly) assumed it was some prank by a troll. I guess his low post count contributed to my assumption. My apologies! :P

Wow, this game has changed a LOT since I last played! Who here has been around long enough to remember Chase and the awesome deals he hooked AA members up with, even though he was basically paying for shipping twice (Japan to Hawaii, Hawaii to AZ)? THOSE were the good ol' days. :) And it seems I can never find used WA GBBs anywhere, only the cheap clones. :( Oh well, life moves on and we'll just have to get used to that fact. Lighten up, folks. Airsoft is supposed to be fun! Save up your pennies like I had to and buy something worthwhile. Airsoft/paintball ain't nothing compared to real lead slingers! Deal with it.

Is the WA MEU GBB still available? I'm interested, but no price is listed (assuming it's sold, but figured I'd ask). Thanks!

*Chirp!*Chirp!* Tough crowd here, I guess.

So far I've found the standard WA excellence that I can't justify buying right now, WE (whoever that is), TM, KWA, etc. Just curious on any reviews. I'll do a search since everyone here is so bubbly and helpful!  ;) Thanks for any info you'd be willing to provide, folks!

Gas Powered Guns / Looking for GBB 1911 info to suppliment my CCW practice!
« on: December 06, 2008, 10:58:49 PM »
Hey, everyone. I've been a member on these boards since I was about 15-ish (I'm 22 now), but I've been an inactive member since upgrading to "real steel" as it's called here. ;) However, I've recently decided that I'd like to get a GBB to supliment my CCW practice (force-on-force training). I'm pretty spoiled to WA stuff (had an SVI Infinity 5" for my first, and a Para-Ordnance P14.45 HRT for my second). However, I'm looking for a quality single stack model that can closely mimick my current carry piece without breaking the bank (or breaking itself, either!). Attached is a photo of my daily carry . Having been out of the airsoft world for so many years, I'm looking for information on who makes a decent single stack 1911 these days, or even specific model suggestions from WA on down to KWA. Suggestions for places to purchase would be great as well. I know how to run the search button, and will as much as I can, but life's busy and getting busier, so any help you can provide that would save me some time would be GREATLY appreciated! I'm not looking for all the custom feature I have on my 1911, but the general layout needs to be replicated (single stack, single side safety, beavertail, arched MSH, barrel bushing, GI type recoil guide rod, etc). I'm looking to build muscle memory, and while I realize any 1911 model would be better than nothing, the closer to my carry, the better. Thanks for the help, folks!

The few rounds I tried didn't cause any problems either. While I'm not really shooting my AR for extreme accuracy, though, I won't if a weak crimp on the round would affect accuracy, or for that matter if the polymer provides a consistent hold round to round. Would be interesting to find out, though.

Interesting. Gotta wake up pretty dang early to slip past me, though. I've been told I'm like Woody from ToyStory. "We see everything!" :D

Still, somebody slips past the radar everynow and then. I'd prefer them not to have a K-tool or whathaveyou on them. :D
