Post deletion
« on: March 06, 2009, 05:02:13 AM »
Just a suggestion for the forum. Would come in handy if we could delete posts, and it would be especially handy in the 'Airsoft items for Sell'; Keeps the forum clean of random delete me's and all that other junk. But if that isn't how you guys do it, then.. I'm cool with that. :D

Anyways - G'day. ~Fid

Handy, maybe. But it is fun to see the dumb things people post and can't delete. It is also nice to have a record of similar items and sale prices so that you can better judge your asking price. If you want something deleted, just say so, and a mod will get to it eventually.

Oh, ok! I didn't know that.

Do you think this place needs an Archive?

I think he meant the ability to delete YOUR OWN posts.  I don't disagree, but it's understood that if you put thought into your post to begin with, there will be no need to delete it.  Think before you type.

As for the sale posts, you can always go back and edit it.

And, if you really want something "deleted," [WITHIN REASON!] ask a Mod and we'll take a look at it.

We appreciate the input! :D

They were reviewed.

We aren't going to remove someones post simply because one other member thinks it's objectionable.  If it breaks the rules of the forum, that's another story.

Again, we appreciate the feedback.
