yeah buy a tm if you want to spend a shit load on a gun that needs pretty much everything replaced.
Ull buy the tm use it 3 or 4 times and want a better gun, like everyone el's that has bought a TM in the last 5 years.
For under 200 look for an echo1, or cyma Iv personally seen them out last/ trump alot of marui's on the field. especially in stock form
It will save you money in the end when you want more than 300 fps.
then you dont have to replace... bushings, piston, Piston head, spring, spring guide, cylinder head, gears, and probably the gear box shell, when you do upgrade it.oh yeah and dont forget about the amazing plastic external body's TM has
But hey at least you will get a good hop-up out of it right?
Yeah if it was 5 or 6 years ago i'd say marui too. But unfortunately there pretty much outdated now
You havent used their new guns then. The new Scar for instance, has the best air seal on a gun Ive ever seen. Zero leaks to fix, and with only an M100 spring it was too hot for lion claws games, we had to cut off 1/2" off the spring.
Metal bushings, spring guides, etc are all stock now. And their gen 2 guns use cnc metal where metal is on the real steel.
As Ron once told me, TM guns are designed for a player who wants to go out every single weekend and shoot all day long, and never have to touch his gearbox for the next 5 years.
I have my old P90 that after roughly 400,000 rounds through it, 6 Lionclaw Events, and 8 years of airsofting in Arizona, still shoots like the day it was bought, and has NEVER had its gearbox opened up, not to re-shim it, not to lube it, nothing.
Based on the quality of the parts in the new Scar that I have used and torn down, and its performance at the last Lionclaws, I still maintain that fact. It's the highest quality stock AEG I've ever handled.
