If anyone is in SoCal around the 27th of Sept...
Registration is now open...
If you plan of playing and want to dress as your favorite Joe or Cobra, you MUST register as that character to ensure you can be that person. AEX is only allowing one of each character.
In other words, if you want to be Snake Eyes you need to ensure you register before someone else registers as that character.
AEX is keeping tabs on character registration.
If you want to just go as a random Cobra or Joe soldier, that is cool as there is no limit to random players, you just need to conform to the uniform code for each team.

This is a private game hosted and supervised by AEX Torrance staff. Feedback on our HSP and SC Village games have been universally enthusiastic and positive. This game is open to ALL airsoft players. The purpose of the game is to HAVE FUN for players and teams of all ages and experience. I’m calling on you, a Real American Hero, to help me! The evil Cobra organization is once again attempting to serve their single-minded, nefarious objective to take over the world. This time, we have several confirmed reports that they are trying to rebuild the Weather Dominator. This device has the ability to control storm systems, causing havoc to climates and potentially bringing the world to its knees. It was believed that Destro’s invention was destroyed years ago, although recently parts of the original have resurfaced. Intelligence suggests that Cobra will utilize all their means necessary to acquire these components to achieve their ends.
We need the combined strength of our special forces to defeat this growing threat. Joes will team up under the leadership of General Hawk and First Sergeant Duke. We will proudly wear our stars and stripes. We will stay until the fight for freedom is won.
Of course, there will be many that will serve Cobra. These henchmen organize under orders from Cobra Commander and Destro, the two major masterminds behind their terrorist operation. Luckily, these terrorists aren’t particular about anonymity; their uniforms and colors are easily distinguishable.
Cobra has tried desperately before. G.I. Joe will stop them again.

AEG FPS LIMITS = 425 FPS using .20g BB's
SNIPER RIFLE FPS LIMITS = 575 using .20g BB's

Weapons restrictions: (subject to revision)
Each team is only allowed one "Heavy Weapon" per every ten players. (Ie. SAWS)
Sniper rifles must be bolt action single shot ONLY. DMR's fall under AEG FPS limits.
Magazine restrictions:
858 NIGHT OPS: F.O.G. is a MID CAP/STANDARD magazine game. Hi-caps will NOT be allowed.

OPORD:
Each team will be tasked with specific missions that need to be completed within an allotted amount of time. Points will be distributed to each team on the completion of each mission AND/OR the successful denial of the other teams mission.
Between each mission will be a 'SAFETY ROLL CALL' where all team members must return to base. Players that RTB within the first 10 minutes will be awarded points for their team.
There will be a small rearming period between each mission, starting at the mission end. Please use this time wisely as 858 game control will be keeping a TIGHT SCHEDULE and starting all missions ON TIME.
Missions will vary in length between 3 hour missions and 1 hour missions, each with a safety roll call in between. Missions will be played THROUGH OUT THE NIGHT with the final mission beginning at approximately 0330 hours (3:30am).
From 1800 hours until ENDEX (approx. 0500) the ENTIRE FIELD will be considered a 'danger zone'. As such, eye protection will be REQUIRED to be worn at ALL TIMES.
858airsoft.com plans to incorporate the ENTIRE MR. PAINTBALL FIELD including the 'front' fields (Ie. Congo, Trenches, Cincinnati, etc.). This is going to be strictly dependent on player registration numbers.

MINOR PLAYERS:
All minor players, in order to participate in 858 NIGHT OPS: F.O.G. will be required to submit a NOTARIZED LETTER from a parent or guardian authorizing an adult of their choice as temporary legal guardianship for this event. The adult listed on the notarized letter MUST be in attendance at the event.

A minor player wishing to participate in 858 NIGHT OPS: F.O.G. may have a parent remain ON SITE during the course of the game. All parents/guardians will be required to sign an insurance waiver and will be restricted to the front parking lot area of Mr. Paintball. Parents and Guardians will NOT be allowed onto the field at any time, except in the event of an emergency.

THIS WILL BE A NON-ALCOHOLIC EVENT.
I know we don't normally have a problem with alcohol.. but it must be said.. NO ALCOHOL.
NO FIRES.
This means no BBQ's, MRE burners or similar.. NO OPEN FLAME.
** Players that disregard the above will be removed from the game and forced to leave the property. Depending on the severity of violation, they may be banned from future 858 events.

GAME CONTROL will be running a "STRICTER THEN NORMAL" rules enforcement for this game. It is highly suggested that if you plan to 'cheat' or violate any safety rule.. that you do not sign up.

Good afternoon from San Diego, CA. I wanted to give a big thank you to the Desert Hawks and Coyote Tactical for coming out to San Diego in support of the US Marine Corps. Your support was greatly appreciated and from the bottom of this Marine's heart, thank you.
