The player did the right thing and cradled the child best he could  while sacrificing his own body

Yeah, I'm sure he felt like s*** after that even though it wasn't his fault.  You think that guy in the polo was the father?

Yeah, I bet that guy felt like shit for a long time after that.  Poor kid, but why the hell would you put a 4 year old on the field?

Notice how the ref got in there right away to make sure the kid wasn't harmed, and calling for a medic.  Kudos to the zebra ;)

That was AFTER he tackled him.

So, you think football players are constantly watching out for toddlers?  Their job is not to act as security and keep the field clear, their job is to play ball.  There are other people who are hired to keep the field clear and safe.

It doesn't show it on the video, but from what I heard on the radio it sounds like mom moved out of the way when she saw them coming but didn't bother to grab her son first.

Stupid a** parents.  WTF were they thinking?  This is football.  It is a given you will have players flying across the out of bounds line.  Why would you let your four year old kid wander around the endzone?  Thats just plain stupid, I feel sorry for the kid for having parents like that.

Gravity cares not how old you are, besides that kid shouldn't have been there.
