NP.

Also worth pointing out, obviously the brass is the largest re-occurring cost.  So it also depends on how many reloads you get out of your brass.

You can also probably find some cheaper prices on the equipment (those prices were just a quick search at some of the popular online shops), especially if you go used.  You can find Dillon stuff pretty frequently on craigslist and whatnot.

I was going to point that out (about the brass).  If you reuse your brass once, you are now down to $200 per 1,000.

Yes, but depending on the range it might be difficult to reclaim ALL of your brass when you shoot.  So at the very least, factor in some loss in brass every time.

I use the Lee Pro 1000 for loading 9mm. It does most popular pistol and rifle calibers. Also Quick/Easy to change out to a different caliber. I figure at the cost though to just buy another press and not to mess with your set up.

Im able to load 1000rds for $150-160 (Pluse 1 hr. per 300rds + or -)

I started out with a Classic lee loader and tools I put together for $60.
(using a hammer to assemble rounds is fun)

I haven't used a press yet to load rifle, but Im learning, about to get a press soon. (still hammering rifle rounds out)

Sidenote: I've been able to make more accurate rifle rounds with the classic lee loaders then factory ammo. Just purley based on my shooting style, no in depth research and studies. My groupings being tighter is enough research for me.

Well, I'm pretty lazy, and the idea of spending all that time just to save 25 bucks or so seems silly, but I do ALOT of shooting, and I love my Dad's loads and reloads, so it could prove a good investment for me too.
