Thanks for keeping your shots below the horizon but next time find a propper backstop.

Yeah cause some people have had rounds fly past their heads, traveling much faster than 400fps.  All due to people not using a good backstop

Yeah, not a very good backdrop.  A spot with a nice size hill or mountainside makes a good back stop.  Stray rounds can go just about anywhere, and you never know if there are others around that may be endangered by the strays.  You should've posted a video showing the 12g throw you on the ground.  That stance doesn't look very promising... and i bet your shoulder was prety sore.  I got five slugs, but don't intend on using them until i get a rifled barrel in my 12g.  Looks like you had fun though, just remember that safety is number one when shooting real firearms... not just yours but the safety of others.

actually we were at a military artillery testing ground thingi.
there was no one aroung and the shot did not kick me on my ass but it did through me

belive me i wont be shooting slugs in a while

and trust me my dad's an x USMC sniper so i think he knows that i screwed up and i soon corrected myself after that

the i did actually have a good stance, i leaned forward, held the stock firmly and tightly in my shoulder and squezed the trigger.  the reason for the bad photo is because it was taken after the shot and i'm a pretty small dude so i aint gonna hold a slug round well

My estimations based on surrounding landscapes (superstition mtns.) puts you just east of queen creek not quite far enough to be in the florence military reservation. They have a nice range with a backstop that you can shoot at if you are realy nice. Any of that is beside the point, mil res or not, you still should shoot with a proper backstop. When the mil uses the res for live fire training, the entire area is closed.

Plus rounds travel a long ways. No one can tell me that a person can see a mile plus or even a quarter mile for that matter due to this terrain and say that they know for sure that no one was around.... hence the reason for using a good backstop.  As a shooter you are responsible for your rounds.  Pull one out of my leg or worse and the gun operator will have hell to pay. I've had friends almost shot because of piss poor shooting safety practices. Just remember it's not shoot and forget.

Know your basic guidlines and you can have a fun safe time shooting, instead of spending time in jail for negligence.

Happened to a old friend of mine.

They were out ATVing down by some wash, I think by the old SWPB. Came across 2 shooters that had been drinking and had been firing at bushes.  Needless to say they didn't hear him nearby and shot him in the ass with a .22 or .223, I don't remember which but it was a decent wound. If he had been sitting down they would have shot him in the back of the head.

Last time I check he was getting atleast 10k+medical/lawyer fees and the shooter was facing serious charges and jail time.

Felt a real experience would help, now going back to drifting.

You're awefully skinny to be a white supremacist.

Thanks for soiling my training grounds with your crappiness. Maybe if you hit that AO at the right time, you might meet up with the shooting team, and they'd possibly let you throw some real lead downrange.

(I think I see an imprint from my face from when I was low crawling!)

All I'm getting from this thread is that you DO in fact look as I pictured you by your horrendous posts, that you have no shooting discipline, and that you don't have any cool guns.

Your dad was a USMC sniper?  What unit (and when) and what MOS?

More than likely. It was about the size of a quater but went in far enough they couldn't remove it without severe excess damage. My point was it happens. He got lucky and wasn't killed. So now he will just set off metal detectors all his life.

I only posted here, since I don't like the kid b/c of his comments, for the benefit of those that shoot outside of a range.

If it was a .223, they would have had to remove it from his ribcage.

I bet he gets some extra lovin' in the airport!

And, Uchiha, no worries dude.  Your anecdote is the only good thing to come of this thread.  ;)
