SAS training with Airsoft.

I know it is a TV show, but it is nice that they mention Airsoft by name. I hope this adds a bit of legitimacy to the use of airsoft as a training aid.

It is getting there.  NYANG already uses airsoft for their RSP program, using known local airsofters as OPFOR, and it has so far been fairly successful.

The way i see it is the 13 year olds have ruined our sport. When you say airsoft people think little springers that you buy at walmart that your neighboors kid shot your dog with. All those critics to airsoft need to see a staged, orginized event Like BH or something and I think their opinion of the sport will change.

I\'ve touched that gun with my hand which had touched my penis. I hope you did not touch your mouth after touching that gun. That would mean your had put part of my penis in your mouth.

Somewhat on topic:

I find it ironic that the UK passes some pretty stringent firearms laws including restrictions on airsoft, then the military picks it up.  Oh those Brits!

when i was a noob like that, shooting anything local or against the law to shoot at was never on my to do list. i had little idiot friends that would want to do that kind of stuff, but i'd always try to persuade them not to, or flat out ditch em. and i always ditched em, cause i thought and cared about the preservation of this sport. and now, im still only 14, but ive worked up to 100% legal pure airsoft... and where are my old friends... playing xbox and causing hell.

you see it's times like that where i would "only in America" but its odd to see someone else do something such as that. But i like how the SAS picked it up, i only wish the Marines would, i could have so much fun! i only got to use those stupid paintball like things.  And barley too, the combat instructors had more fun picking on us with them, then we did.
