That's strange, I didn't know that there was too much overlap. SARC, care to weigh in?

Either way, RIP Sergeant Peralta, and thanks.

Personally I think its crap. Jessica Lynch got a Bronze Star for not firing her weapon and surrendering. This guy is f*cking hero.

Dude, thats bull. The man saved his squad from a grenade, and they need to analyze the bomb fragment data, and the position he was in in order to prove him a hero? come on.

I say bollocks! this happens tho, when someone deserves a higher medal often times it is taken down one.  I can't believe this one didn't go through, if i can remember from the crucible, i believe it was a Pvt. Jenkins that during Vietnam a grenade was thrown into his machine gun nest and he rolled on it to save everyone in it.  He received the medal of honor and some how this Sgt. does not.  well nothing we can do about it, may my prayers go with you Sgt. Peralta!

p.s. as for Jessica Lynch i can't think of one person the Marine Corps hates more.....maybe besides fonda...
