Real Firearms / WTS 2x Savage Mark II .22LR (make offer)
« on: May 09, 2015, 12:18:51 PM »
Mark II FXP (green) and Mark II (wood laminate), both have light cosmetic damage. Maybe 500 rounds through each.

Make a cash offer and they're yours. Will throw in a couple hundred Stingers and a mostly-full brick of something cheap and that case pictured.

General Airsoft Discussion / APD
« on: April 24, 2007, 07:04:44 AM »
At the last game I went to, Ed (nice asian guy) suggested that I take a look at APD for my next gun. He mentioned someone's name that I should look for specifically, but I don't remember who he said.. Any hints?

Also, do they sell systema parts and will they do gearboxes?

Airsoft Items FOR SALE / TM M4
« on: April 21, 2007, 01:11:11 PM »
FS a TM M4 with G&P CQB Barrel, Crane stock with 9.6v 3300mah NIMH battery.

Internal upgrades:
Systema metal bushings
Systema M120 spring
Systema silent piston head
Systema Poly-carb piston.

Included:
QD Suppressor (I forget the brand, you'll recognize it)
G&P Vertical foregrip
5 standard TM mags
TM Aimpoint with new batteries
4 OD heatshields
Original stock
Practical Tactical quick release sling (single point, attaches to the gun with a buckle)

For the battery, I'll include a smart charger (charges different voltages and stops when the battery is full) and a simple discharger (it's a lightbulb with a battery connector on it.)

Asking $200 paypal or cash picked up, $250 shipped.
I'm in the lower Phoenix area, the ahwatukee foothills.

Why so cheap? On semi auto the gun fires fine, but on full auto it misfeeds 2/10 times so every few shots dry-fire.

PM or email.

Introduce Yourself! / Hi, I'm new
« on: August 29, 2006, 07:30:10 PM »
Kind of.
The community seems to have changed a lot since I was here last. And Andy got buff
Is there room around here for another anklebiter (16)?

Anybody I know care to recommend a game to show up at?

Are there no more casual weekend games? Everything seems like it's op-this, op-that now.

Accessories & Gear / Radio
« on: February 13, 2005, 09:09:34 PM »
Can anyone recommend a quality radio other than the 21-1860? I found some GMRS/FRS radios at radioshack, but you need a license to use those don't you?

AEG's / New(ish) M4
« on: January 05, 2005, 05:05:54 PM »

Finally got everything together and installed. Yay for christmas and jobs to be able to afford all of this   :P

External:
Stock TM reciever
stock inner barrel, I left this the normal length and covered it with the         suppressor to maintain accuracy/power
Prime crane stock with 3300mah 9.6v battery
TM aimpoint (will get better when I have money)
G&P CQBr with TM vertical grip and CA plates
ICS long QD suppressor

Internal:
PDI 170%
Systema silent piston head
Systema polycarb piston
systema metal bushings

Next thing to upgrade will probably be my gearbox and/or gears, then reciever. This will probably end up waiting until I turn 15 and can get a real job

Did all of the upgrades myself, and it seems to be working alright :)
I've already played 4-5 games on my internals, plus plinking in the backyard to test things, and I havn't had any troubles yet.
The stock I think was the hardest part, had some trouble with the selector switch when I rewired (the small safety lever that stops the trigger was getting caught on the red wire.)

The camera makes the painted parts stand out from the unpainted, but you really can't tell looking at it.

Gas Powered Guns / KSC vs. KJW
« on: August 23, 2004, 04:32:49 PM »
I've heard mixed reviews about KJW, such as they are good skirmish guns, and that the mags develop leaks quickly. I'm looking at the KJW glock 23 (metal) and the KSC glock 18C, and want to know what you guys have to say about them.

AEG's / Looking for upgrade talent
« on: July 31, 2004, 09:13:36 PM »
I'm ready to get my upgrades in my TM M4A1, and seeing as how Harley is taking a break from upgrading, I am looking for somebody with a lot of experience who will do it for a price.
If you will do it, please PM me with an estimate.

Regards,
Matt

AEG's / AR-15 Aluminum stock
« on: April 09, 2004, 04:53:58 PM »
I found a replacement AR-15 aluminum stock in a surplus catalog and was wondering if it would mount on a TM M4A1.
The only measurement provided is it is 6.25 inches when collapsed.
Anybody know if that would work? I like the idea of more metal, as I eventually am going for a full metal gun.
